Hi,

I hope JL will return, I've been following his work for quite some time and liking it very much.

My demo account, $5K, since my broker uses suffixes (I know, I know, but I had to switch brokers) it's only running FOREX BLACK FRIDAY v2a and Eat Pray Love Write With ALR v2c MM at the moment.

Hi,

As previously seen, the DD is catching up on the profit but still reasonably profitable (I had an account that had a constant 40% DD yet the account kept growing nicely, I don't have access to that demo otherwise I would have added it to my MyFXBook account) so I have a few questions to others who are using JL's EAs.

1. Do you change the default settings? - Mine are all defaults.
2. Do you close trades manually?
3. Do you use some kind of equity guard or something to close profitable and/or loosing trades?

Reading this for me the main issue is: what will happen with a DD of 40% in more wild market conditions ? Another move, another fucking jump into the "wrong" direction ... and you'll got a swift kick in the butt !
Today your account may survive retracing after a DD of 40 % .... but what will happen tomorrow ? You never know .... :youknow:

Well, that's the thing, for the nearly two months it's been running before it died it had survived several red news, stayed in the 40% DD and the account grew from 2500$ to 4000$ with it ending at 3000$ and 1000$ DD (which was less then 40% at the time), the balance grew faster then the equity but the account, grew, slowly, but it grew.

Yes totally agree!

Look what happened today at my ESW Lite v2 demo, after the 300+ pips surge on ECB rate cut with an extended QE program:

It was (maybe) on a slow death and now it's back again, being the "best" performing EA in my pack...
