Fyi, my results since only 5/1 on FXDD trading every pair using .1 lots with amount 25 and 33 both = 25 is a loss of $100 with -$12 DD atm. I'll begin running the new version now. Any suggestions as to which pairs are best, I am beginning to suspect I should narrow the pairs I trade.

Hi Fx93. I guess it depends on which version that you are running. For the last two versions (4.4 and 4.4 SE) I personally have gotten good results on EUR/USD, USD/CHF, USD/CAD, and AUD/USD.
Haven't really tested on any more due to time restraints. So please test, and post your findings if you'd like.

Hey guys.
New version 4.4 SE is on post #1. It uses the original Gann SQ9 A2 indi.
"GannShift" setting is from first candle touching the indi's baseline. A setting of 3 seems to work the best. Setting the "Close on opposite signal" to true, seems to give better performance, although you will get an occasional loss, you won't have to ride out a very long trade with big DD.
I hope that you guys like this one, and can benefit from it. I've lost my mind and have actually started to run it live on my small account...

Please forgive this being a little off-topic, but I just wanted to show you guys an error given by the SQ9 this morning, as it tried but couldn't open an order on USD/CAD. This was not due to any bugs in the code, but rather, the powers that be, have decided to squeeze the vise even tighter, by forcing all non-US Crims to not only not accept US residents as new customers, but to actually close the existing US residents' accounts as well. Just another one of our rights/freedoms being taken away.
Maybe instead of being called the U.S., it should be called the U.S.S.R. ....

couple hours later no trader on all 3 symbols

use default settings (didn't change anything in EA) did I miss something?

Hi prozor7.

I'm running on EUR/USD, USD/CHF, USD/CAD, and AUD/USD, and haven't had any trades since late monday. Be patient, the conditions have to be right to open a trade. It doesn't trade as often as the older versions like say the 4.2, but it does trade.

im running 4.4SE since tuesday 15th, so far very good. 3 closed profit trades, one open right now +ve floating but will also end in profit. stock OOTB settings, running H1 on EUR/USD, USD/CHF, USD/CAD, and AUD/USD

Glad to hear that. I believe that the 4.4 SE is the way to go ATM. The way I have it set up is;
High/Low = Gann "base level" x number of candles ago from the formation of the new level (GannShift setting), confirmed by the Bulls/Bears indi, and extra confirmation from the Envelopes indi.
Combined with the "Close on opposite signal" and a jumping stop set to 20, seems to work out well so far. It has kept me out of trouble on a couple of occasions (that I've noticed). Another thing that I really like is that the "re-quote" issue and other nuisances have been eliminated.

Although it doesn't trade as often as the previous versions, it seems to be a little more accurate when placing it's trades. Slow and steady wins the race... Below is a screenshot of the latest on the EURO/DOLLAR going as expected...
