The Captains Chest - Naked Trading & Other Stuff

Post by Silweri »

There are times that I find very difficult to trade like this way...

Maby it's just me and somebody can answer how to trade this, but me myself would be waiting on every three levels for reversal and hit stops all the time...

Same thing happened with all jpy pairs little while back.

AUDUSD did this also.

Could somebody more experienced help to see how to deal these trading conditions?

That was covered years ago in this thread as well as others....

I'm still reading, so I'm not far enough in progress ;)

Thanks for info! Continueing reading every day!

And sorry about this if this has been discussed years ago already, but the thread is huge and it takes time to go through it and during that progress, questions rise.

Why are you taking a buy at the top of the cycle? Why are you not paying attention to the "RRT's and pin directions? Why are you not looking for and trading only from the "M" and "W"'s that indicate the 3rd levels? Why are you not looking at the time periods above and below the time period you are trading?? Why are these trades still open when price has moved far away from you?? WHY? WHY? WHY? I can go on and on but all this stuff has been covered, as well as much more, in this thread and these are the details you fail to see. You fail to see it because to you, you believe price moves up for 3 days and then down for 3 days.... these are your beliefs, not my teachings.

This is why these methods don't work for you. Until you can read a chart correctly, you should stop trading or spend your money on something before you lose it. The FOX loves traders like you....

Glad to see you again CJ

Please be informed that I do not criticize you but I only try to say that in your method you often give us a contradictory information and it causes a real headache. This thread is really interesting and that's why it hurts me a little that is so confused because I really want to understand this method.

AUD/USD - ok, it is my mistake. You posted a chart and you draw the 1st level of downtrend. Ok, I understand. But in this case why you wrote that there are 3-5 days increase or decrease in price on M15 chart ? Look at AUD/USD there was no 3-5 days increase in price but only 2 days which started on 9th December and ended on 10th December before the price went down again.

Or, how do you count days on M15 ? Do you mean that Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday are 3 days ? Or you want to tell that these 3 days it is just Monday but the Asian session is the 1st day, London session is a 2nd day, and NY session is the 3rd day ? So far I thought that these 3 days are for example Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday but I know that depends from the day where is located the peak high or low.

So the question is, if we trade on M15 chart then every day of the week we should count as these three days because every day of week includes Asian, London and NY sessions (so that's why the three days) or you just mean that these three days are Friday, Monday and Tuesday ? Of course we are talking now only about trading in a short term on M15 chart.

I would be grateful for your help.

Sorry mate, I have no answers to your questions. Again, you are trying to simplify a complicated process into a trading system. This is no system.

Hi CJ Our paths have not crossed on the forum as yet but just like to express some gratitude for the information you have shared and the recognition that the effort taken to do that takes a large chunk of personal time which is a very generous gesture as time is probably the most valuable commodity we have :good: I understand the fractal nature and the ripple effect like a pond. I am trying to implement your approach onto weekly charts to try and catch the ultimate cycles. I think the cycles within cycles are what some are not understanding. Weekly and daily may be down, 4hr could be up and hourly down but unless you know that the 4hr has completed it's cycle to align with weekly and daily no point jumping on that 1 hour down trend unless proficient as it is obvious it is only a retrace of the 4hr uptrend until that signals it's reversal to join the weekly and daily. I know you have said it's not needed to look at such a large scale but it just interests me to study it at such scale, with that being said would appreciate your view of my weekly USD/CAD chart and if you think my count is ok/reasonable. Probably a huge amount of buy stops to be triggered above 1.40 and fox likely to be happy to take those having come this far ? A nice topping structure of M or a roof top might provide a decent drop. Best wishes For the season and Good Health for the year Ahead. :xm:

Ok CJ, thank you for response anyway. I will go through by this thread once again, my biggest mistake was treating your method as 3 days cycle. I think I am beginning to understand what's going on in your method, on the forex is one rule - no rules. But there are plenty useful marks which are creating by fox and if you can combine them then you win. As you wrote - follow the fox.

One more question - you are a really good trader and you have a great financial results - did you ever thought to start your own hedge fund ? I suppose that you will be able to find many investors without problem.

Ive watched like five hours and found it pretty useful, sometimes he says exactly the same CJ wrote about. But also found some mistakes: he says price can't go in one direction for three sessions (that's rare but happens) and price can't go in one direction for three days (that's total crap, it happens over and there). At least you will learn the basics from him.
Can you please post the video links?

I have found 5 hours of videos on YouTube, but they all appear to be the same with a lot of time taken up on introductions.

I agree with you that one direction for three sessions are rare, all three sessions seem to have to trade similar price levels, at least over a period of say 10 days.

Longer than three days in one direction happens often enough, for example in gbpnzd I have seen 9 days in a row twice over the last two months
