i get more confident trading using hgi indicator. thanks to Bob and other contributors.

Hi,

question to Milanese or other Empty4 professionals:
It seems not be able to store a label on a hgi-chart,
for example changing timeframe deletes it.

I think, this is by design of this tpl or something else in the chart.
Is there a possible workaround? Thank you.

josch, just checked your scenario and I have no problem, it could be because you have keep history set to false but mine works just fine H1 to H4 - D1 - H1, text label still intact.

thank you. Not set 'KeepHistory' to 'false' here, so this should not be the problem. But if
it's working by default, it seems like an individual thing only here. Thx a lot nonetheless.

anywhere by mistake did put the wrong indicator in my chart to received an insult from the indicator god sake at 75 years old no one yet did send me a such rude note god sake guys where you come from a bit of respect goes a long way

Hi Josch, was just adding reminders on lower timeframes to watch higher..if you use the 'Draw text ' tool, looks like A on the Empty4 toolbar, it will keep its position relative to the candles as the chart progresses with time, so when you change from a higher to a lower timeframe it will appear at that point on the lower timeframe, so you have to scroll back to see it.
If you use the 'Draw text ' tool, looks like a T in a box, this will add text to the chart, but not move with the candles, so as the chart progresses you will have to drag it to the right to keep it in view.But it will not 'disappear ' when you change time frame. You can read up on them in the Empty4 help.

forgot to add, so this effect is nothing to do with the HGI indicator!

thank you for helping, but I know the difference between 'Draw Text' and 'Draw Text Label'.
I'll test this next days on another platform. But because there's no similar behavior mentioned,
as I said, it seems to be an individual problem only here. Have a nice day.
