Here is little FOMC fun, I am amazed at HGI ability to accurately produce signals that are on the right side of the market. Just amazing job by everyone involved with HGI...

I like to post screen captures to document what the EA is doing for future references. But if you guys find it annoying please let me know.

Have upgraded to 1g.
I guess it is behaving as it should. I have not done any manual intervention. H4 and 28 pairs.
OOTB, only changed lot size and magicnumber.

Closed trades around -200 pips this week, the rest is floating DD.

Quintus, You may want to test it on fewer pairs that you actually want to trade. No point in testing on 28 pairs in my opinion.

Here is an overnight update... I got greedy over the news yesterday thinking it may do a trend change in the up direction. I was wrong! Should have closed it when it was in profit. But it did recover some of it's loss on a reverse GHI signal.

Every pair you load up will eventually trigger a signal. You end up with a lot of trades. That is fine when the markets went berserk at the end of last week and pairs were hitting their tp's just because they got bored and wanted some entertainment.

When this does not happen, you get left with a large number of open trades - guess how I know?

Ok for me; I know what this bot does and so do not get confused. Most members do not even read post 1 properly and so have not a clue what is happening.

Stick to the majors and GJ folks. If SNB's shenanigans last January put you off the chf, then import a couple of alternative pairs. Just don't overload yourselves with a mountainous position you cannot even begin to understand.

This EA will not go short of trading opportunities.

I got hit with a big spike, wish I was awake to manage this trade but this experiment shows what kind whiplash can happen and what you need to do.

Cyber, yours is rocking out man. Mine was like some of the others, just bleeding pips, was down 600 pips and floating over 1k pips negative.

I scrapped it and starting over fresh this week with just the majors and ill watch to see if it does better this time. Im going to test the 15M tf, as i believe thats what you use.

... got a demo account free on VPS now so thought I would setup a test for HGBnG with Grid, SL and TP based on ATR since this approach is working well for me on my own Hurst based grid system live.

I will be using D1 for signals . Grid will be stop and limit orders (no hedging) giving a total of up to 8 positions 1 x H1 ATR apart for each signal.

SL and TP will be 10 x H1 ATR. As an example this is 120pips on EURGBP and 520pips on GBPAUD.

Risk will be 1% per position and upto 8% per trade ..which will be fun

(wouldn't choose this much live but it's a 5k demo account I'm using so hey it will have to do for now until I see how many signals come each week on D1).

I've attached a set file for the 21 pairs I will be testing if anyone is interested in the ATR values (1000 periods)

Thanks for all this Joe. I assume you are Joe, and not a Susan or Jackie pretending to be a Joe. Tough if you are - you are Joe for ever on.

Contrary to impressions, I am not ignoring your original posts about using atr for grid calculations. There were more bloops in the code than I imagined when I released the bot, and so concentrated on them last week. I will be in touch with you and cy about all this tomorrow.
