I am coding a private ea for one of our members and this has suggested a way of dealing with fully hedged positions and providing an earlier exit from limit-only trading than is usually provided by HGI. Details in "Using 3_level_zz_semafor for trade closure" in post 1.

The new code has yet to be tested and may contain bugs, so don't rush to put it on any live trading accounts just yet.

in LookForTradingOpportunities() you call SendBuyGrid where OriginalSignal = OP_BUY and SendSellGrid function where
OriginalSignal = OP_SELL. I think lines 1885 & 1886 (HGBnG v1k) should be moved to line 1725 and 1823&1824 + 'SendTrade = true;' to line 1698.
Could you be so kind and check it.

By the way just to report that last week was 800+ pips...
I was using the stop and limit order option
Only thing I changed was the Grid ATR to H4 same as my trading time frame. We will see if this proves effective over the long run or I get more SLs because or the tighter grid than the D1 setting

During setup and preliminary testing of HGBnG 1-j I was setting up multiple pairs (and also a profile for the setup).
I use profiles extensively and always have MT Options set to disable AutoTrading when switching profiles.
i.e. when loading a profile I like to be able to make setting changes before letting things loose by using the AutoTrading button.
My EAs are coded to look for AutoTrading and do whatever they are supposed to do when Terminal and/or an individual EA trading is not enabled.

For convenience I made the below simple change to OnTick() in HGBnG that will check the Terminal AutoTrading status as well as the EA trading status before allowing further processing in OnTick().

Use at your discretion of course.

I know this is a long shot request but would you agree to add a trade close feature for activated HGI Trend Arrow stops or limits by a Yellow Wavy? Like the one in the attached screenshot.
I reckon it will prevent SLs more rather than waiting for an opposite trend arrow to close the trades
