I have a bias for indicators that crunch data and open up trading opportunities for a mechanical trader like me. I am 67 and have done my best to kept up with technology. EA is not my cup of tea.

You are a brilliant coder, same in the league of Honestknave, 'mad' futurespec (both of said goodbye to FF) and 'master" CJA (still active) all of you sharing the love for labour and excellence. I am just new to this forum and for starters, I have come across your work thanks to 919gilead (George) and hopefully will come across other dedicated coders. George is really good at designing simple and yet effective strategies and I am one of his fans and pray that he succeeds in extracting powerful signals. Shalom.

May I request you to include this display switches in this indicator too.

I will include the option to select the font size in the next version. But please note this: This indicator was created for real (i.e. manual) traders like George as an aid/tool to see trading opportunities, by just eyeballing the dashboard. As such the dashboard has a very pragmatic role/function. As the "dashboard-man" I was coerced to help George with the coding of his ideas, but I care very little about the cosmetics of the GUI, as long as it is functional. Also, I am not more compelled to fulfill your cosmetic requests, as some other dude named CJA (whom I've never heard of) is such a great GUI builder. This is not a competition of who can build the most beautiful interface. I am not a manual trader, firstly because I live in the wrong timezone and am knocking off at the time the action starts, and secondly, as I don't have the patience or discipline to manually stick to a set of trading rules. So, I am hoping that George and the rest of the manual trading team can use this tool to formulate a set of trading rules that can be coded in a EA. Only if that happens will I personally see the fruits of my labour.

If you have appetite (and time) for coding for Currency Options, a Super Specialty, as my mentor - a medical doctor-turned-trade evangelist - calls it, I will be pleased to work for the sake of empowering those people who need economic freedom and have saved at least US$15,000.

Spreadsheet programming will be required for CME listed Currency Futures Options as have to use APIs (DDE links) provided by brokers because free CME data is unavailable.

Can later shift to coding for the OTC Currency Options retail platform developed by Empty4 which is cold-shouldered by retail brokers (except by one or two) as they can't see scope for making easy money as they can with Spot fx. Even those offering this product have jacked up spreads so much that no trader will be able to make money in fx options unless he hits big.

If Steve can lobby, armed with a petition, signed by Forum members and their friends, with CME to provide at least six months free live data and fx futures options brokers to give free use of paper trading and API and get rewarded by way of ads for this forum by the brokers, nothing like it. The community of fx traders as a whole benefits.

I know nothing about trading currency options, but that doesn't mean that I can't learn. But for the moment, I stick to forex, as there is still so much to learn and gain in this field.

This is just great. I was already a fan of the MADDASH but this is even better! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you guys put in this beast.

Just implemented this in my system based on GANN ribbons, a 34 Linear Weighted MA and VSA and banked 42 pips just now:

The dash popped a warning on AUDJPY 5M and I looked to VSA on the 1M for conformation;

Banked 29 pips.

A few minutes after I got a warning of NZDCAD, same story;

Banked 13 pips = 42 pips total in an hour or so = happy Mitchell = grateful Mitchell.

It is the EA from FF that was designed to trade Dashboard signals if the Dashboard is plugged in. However, from a subsequent post of yours it sounds like you are thinking of developing an automated trading option for this. If that is so, it is very exciting news.

This is what my dashboard is currently showing with AUD, CAD & GBP as the strong groups; CHF, JPY and EUR as the weak currency groups. The week is just starting and the picture seem to charge every hour but we'll see what the day brings as no major news release today. NZD has joined the strong groups and even taken the lead as I write but I'll go for a snooze and allow the market to show its hand before joining the fight.
