Does anyone have any idea why the RS&Pivots would not work on a Renko chart or am I asking too much of a good thing?

Guys, ive been looking into SL levels set by the EA. They look very wide. If i recall correctly, there was the idea (in 10.1 or 10.0) to treat candels closed below/above one of the MA lines as reversals. Maybe this could be a user input SL option as well?
Currently im on a buy with GJ fired at 21may 00:00 (Cowboy IBFX AU) 125.148 and a SL set to 130.441 - which would be after monthly pivot is crossed. If the bot could close this trade earlier (say on MA line or one of the nearest supports as spotdespot suggested) i could be on a long position by then.

yeah i have put the latest version of 10.2 autobot with the wpc range trade ea on demo and manually put a stop loss of 75pips in the stoploss field but it doesnt seem to be respected when the ea places trades.

i thought a 75pip stoploss would be good cos when i started the demo at the end of the trend it was holding lots of negative trades..since this bot wins 90% of trades, a couple of stop outs wounldnt hurt.

That's probably because of wide stops it have 90 % success ... So if you change the size of stoploss you change all the logic of the system.

yeah i understand the cons of tight stops, but i was looking at the trades from mid may during the strong trends and with breakeven kicking in at 25pips...lots of trades taken with the trend would be in the money even with narrow stops, so i was thinking this would be a really solid and conservative way to take trend trades whilst keeping stops relatively tight with bigger lot size. but i do see your point. appreciate it man.

That is a great piece of bloop-spotting.

These two functions have the extra code required. WeeklyDirection is the movement since the W1 open, and is either 'up', 'down' or 'none'.

Thanks. I had forgotten to add the code that overrides automatic sl calculation if StopLoss has a >0 value.

Version 1m is in post 1 and is an essential download.
