Hi All I just noticed this today. There was a semafor high which closed the open buy trades. Then the EA did send a fresh new set of buy sell stops but closed them right away. I have my setting of minminutesbetweentradesopenclose to 1 and the EA threw out the Rogue Trading Warning.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong in the setting. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for highlighting this Pat. It throws up a problem with the program logic.

Taking your buys, here is what happened: the bot spotted the high semafor signal and obediently closed market buys and deleted the outstanding stop orders.

All this takes place within a function whose title tells all - ShouldTradesBeClosed() - which houses a whole bunch of closure routines. Included in the semafor closure is code to resend a fresh grid of trades so we can take advantage of a resumption of the move upwards. So, the bot sent the fresh grid of buy stops.

Then, at the next tick triumphantly and obediently noticed the high semafore, deleted the pendings, examined the trade closure time and found it to be too soon after opening, threw a rogue trade error and shut up shop.

That is LUC inviting his buddies around for morning coffee. I need to think about this.

G'day all...
I have been away from auto-trading for a while, and decided to give the HGB'nG a go!

Well, maybe in my absence I have become either brain dead or am going for the F...ing Dimwits trophy, but I can't get my crapper Empty4 950 build to recognise that HGI_16.07 is in my indicators folder...

I have changed HGB'nG from HGI_16.05 to HGI_16.07, but still getting the normal Dimwit reply and it removing itself from my platform...

I realise that this is the basic of basics Dimwit question, but would like to know what I am doing wrong so I can hit myself over the back of the head....

Thanks, and apologies to Steve for posting here! I went through the HGB basics thread all 59 pages and couldn't seem to see anyone having the same problem... And this usually means it's the operator at fault (ME)...

hi, just download latest version 16.07 valid from Jan , 1st. It should work.

Thanks krzysiekqq2, but I have downloaded the same with the expiry of 1st April 16...

I appreciate the advice, but I think I will repost this issue on the HBG Basics thread to save clagging this thread up...

Check if you have placed the HGI 16.07 in the correct indicators folders and that you don't have changed the the spelling...
There is no reason to post your question more than one time. As the problem is 100% created on your backend!!

OMG! What a dickhead I am!

I added the exp. date to HGI, but not to HBG'nG...

So sorry to waste important space in these threads with my incompetency, and shear blindness.
Going out the to the backyard now to get me a nice piece of 4x2 wood, and hit myself over the back of the head with it!!!

Thanks Tommaso for bringing up my spelling mistake, it is much appreciated... I will now keep my lump of 4x2 next to my computer to help prevent further idiocies on my part...

Anyone else getting the following error? been getting these and I'm starting to wonder if these are false positives that are being caused due to large number of buys and sells being sent i.e 20.
