You guys keep me going with your coding commissions and gifts so I have time to work on all this stuff. I do not have to spend 9 hours a day digging up roads for a living.

You folks keep on paying me one way or another and I keep on having the time to develop the code.

That was not a plea; just making the point.

Thanks Steve and cyberevil.I have been lurking here for a while. and I think at this point in time I must say my thanks. Humble of u , Steve, to put it like that but it takes pride in one's work to keep butting your head against the wall to perfect one's creation. In that respect, kudos to all who try to help for the collective good.The rest of us mere humans and beneficiaries are thankful.

Version 1t is in post 1.

I have added the losing part of the hedge stop order replacement thingy. I have added the facility for the various replacement thingies to be a choice controlled by the user.

All the details are in the "HGB'nG User Guide".

Awesome! Your dedication and work ethic amazes me!

I will boot this up on Monday on all 3 machines!

Here is a screen shot of last 7 days of test with the freezing issues which gave me some DD that I just had to close manually. I think it could have easily made another $200 but I'm not complaining!

Started with 3k with 0.03 lots ( this is conservative for me) on three pairs. Lil' beast manage to squeeze out $536.71 profit in 7 days.

Thank you very much for this Steve, this was exactly what I had hoped for last week when my GJ went into DD! I think this will make an amazing EA even more amazing!!!

Mightily impressive stuff considering all the buddies that LUC insisted on inviting around for morning coffee....+ lunch....+ a light afternoon tea......+ a heavy dinner.......+ an overnight bender of epic proportions.

My demo results are irrelevant because they were subject to constantly changing conditions as I added/subtracted/amended code. More next week, hopefully.

I am soooo looking forward to trying this baby out tomorrow!

My job for today, being 10:30am in sunny Queensland is to read the HGB'nG manual, then after that I think I'll read the HGB'nG Manual, then I will re-read this thread again, and then I think I will finish up, for a change of pace, with reading the manual and adjusting settings etc, all ready for tomorrow!!!

Thanks again for all those tedious hours you put in to all the coding, I'm sure all of us appreciate it...

It occurred to me that there might be times when we want to add a fresh grid - I do at the mo on that GJ chart I posted. I have added this functionality - it has to be tested as the markets are shut.

From the updated user guide:

Send a pending grid. This allows us to use HGB'nG as a script to send a grid of trades to fill in a gap left behind by trade closures. The bot will ask you for confirmation that you want a grid sending, and remove itself from the chart once it has tried to send the trades. All you have to do if you send the wrong type of grid is manually delete the trades.
SendGrid: set to 'true' to send a grid.

PendingOrderType: buy or sell stop or limit orders.

GridStartPrice: leave this at 0 to start the grid at Bid +- DistanceBetweenTrades. Fill this input with your grid starting price if you want to be more specific.
