No, there is a logical problem with that. Say, you have 1 Up arrow and 1 Down arrow. Is that Strong or Weak?
There are always 7 currency pairs in a group. We need the majority of these seven pairs to point Up or Down. So, at least 4 need to be pointing Up or pointing Down, in order to make a judgement whether the currency is strong or weak. If there are 5, 6 or 7 pointing in the same direction, than that would make their strength (or weakness) even more obvious. But you can't say anything with one arrow.

I thought that this was obvious, but I was wrong.

Today banked some profitable trades

idea for improvements:

1)today was an high impact GBP News day,Services PMI
it would be nice to add a News filter option,to avoid trading 30 min before and 5 min after the Red Flag
thys system \EA could be a post-the-news trading machine

2)a trailing stop & break even function
personally,I'd like to move SL to b\e after 10 pips profit

3) one more idea..post edit..brainstorming...
an additional Time trading window in the inputs
EA should be allowed to open new trades from Frankfurt to London lunch time
take a rest,simply keep on managing opened trades..
and search for new trades again from NY open until London closure
this is to avoid the London-Lunch-time-give-me-back-the-money-you-earned-in-the-morning effect

Re: 1. This could be considered ... however, I believe that it is still too early to use this EA as a hands-off, 24x5 trading machine. There will always be times that you need to intervene, and not only because of news events.

Re: 2. As mentioned in the user guide, the exit rules are extremely limited at this stage. May be for the time being you can trial one of the many trade managers on offer on this wonderful forum (and set the 'Close Trades? (true/false)'- setting to false). If and when we find a winning exit strategy, I will be more than happy to add it to the code.

Has anyone tested this with a suffix broker? Mine has an i at the end of all of the pairs and I cannot get it to trade over the past two days.

Happy to report that it took a looong time, but finally opened a trade on its own, so suffix brokers work. Now that I know it works, I can try some other settings.

Your first two suggestions have already been implemented in Steve's MPTM or milanese's APTM, so maybe those could be an option to explore more money management ideas for the MAD EA. Just my $0.02.

Happy to report that it took a looong time, but finally opened a trade on its own, so suffix brokers work. Now that I know it works, I can try some other settings.
