Hi Steve,

Just wanted to say a big thank you for this forum and also the amazing work on this EA. I am setting it up now and I've just opened a Global Prime demo to run the test.

Also please can somone point me in the direction of the pip count print out that people are posting.

I am thrilled with HGB'nG this week. Live trading results:

I had two days where HGI generated signals in time to catch some of the big moves we saw. Twice HGI generated a GU buy signal just before the market turned dramatically in the opposite direction. Hedging closed both positions at +30. The contrast between that and what would have happened were I still trading stop and limit orders makes me slightly queasy.

V 1w is in post 1, with two new HGI and one new semafor inputs.

HGI inputs, Copied from the updated user guide:

FridayStopTradingHour: this tells HGB'nG to ignore HGI signals after this hour on Friday, to avoid getting into trades too late on Fridays. Input this hour in your own local time, in 24 hour format; ignore your broker time. Disable it by setting it to anything > 23.
SaturdayStopTradingHour: the equivalent to FridayStopTradingHour for our friends in Upside Down Land.

Semafor:

CloseImmediatelySemaforAppears: tells HGB'nG to close trades immediately a relevant semafor appears on the current candle. The rationale is that the hilo of the previous 34 H4 candles is the hilo of more than a week of trading. A lot of traders will have their take profit at these levels, and I have seen the profits of a number of grids drop substantially as the market begins an immediate retrace.

One week testing and have surprisingly good results.
Using a 0.03 lot size on USDCAD M15, HGHnGrid collected 122 USD profit in a 1:200 demo account.

What a performer!

Using two brokerage accounts at the end of week one, simply amazing!

I am using Steve's live trading version 1v, but I am not hedging, just using pending 'Limit and Stops'.
I only use 0.5% of my account for trading, which equates to 0.01 for every $2000.
I always go with my gut, and close, close ,close when I'm in profit, as my gut is telling me the market is turning!

Sure I could probably squeeze a few more pips out of the market, but I could also lose all those lovely pips I've gained...

Steve, I am very much looking forward to testing HGB'nG V1w this week as the Friday close option will fit perfectly with what I'm doing now!

Being in OZ (Upside Down Land), I trade Monday to Thursday, as the market tends to turn on Fridays. Also I do check every 4 hours to keep an eye on things! I love this EA!!!

Having said that, I always think that one should keep in mind that there is no such thing as a 'set and forget' EA. One should always use these wonderful EAs in conjunction with one's own unique trading style for success... Just my 2cents worth...

I want to thank you guys for this amazing idea and peace of code. I am going to demo run this on 28 pairs H4 and play with the ginormous amount of settings.

I admire your programming skills Steve. I use your EA as a template for the EA I am building. I have good hopes for it and would like to contribute it to the forum once it is perfect.

Much as I appreciate your enthusiasm, your sanity might benefit from refining your approach. You will quickly learn what I mean.

The most I have been able to cope with on demo and live is the four biggies plus GJ.

I have been searching the manual and the thread but couldn't find an answer.
What's the reason the EA deletes pending buy's after some sells have been triggered?

It is happening to me also.
I think it could be something related with the minimum interval allowed by the criminal for pending orders...
Am I right?
