Just had a play with some really simple settings on H1 .. not a bad result for two hours on a Monday morning and could have left some of these to run but finished for the day now ( ....note there is no higher timeframe filtering on this set so it's not one to leave unattended )

Hi Bippo,

For me, London opens at 10:00 and NY opens at 15:00 at the moment, I am in South Africa (GMT+2)

My times were chosen as 30 minutes after open, just to let things settle a bit. Then stop opening trades 2.5 hours before changeover, in the hopes that all positions would be resolved by the opening of a new session.
Still not sure about the Asian session though..

I have also notice the value of Trader Joe's words:
"H4 is ok 24/7 with a trade manager although if you are able it can be better to stop taking new trades between 18:00 - 00:00 GMT and manually closing everything during this time."

It's called Hurst Target which is based on the TMA centered (just like the i trade hurst TMA which just colours from the TMA cross if you want this on your chart).

Wondering if the timesetting in the EA is working properly? I have set it to trade from 01.00 to 19.00, this is GMT+1...
But, the EA opened a trade now at approx. 22.00?

Great results guys and will be back in action in another day or so. I'm an accountant and it's the tax season here, so been a bit busy in the office and can't wait to perfect the EA and be out of here.

I'm having a problem that I don't think anyone else has had - I'm re-reading the thread in case I missed anything but I haven't seen it yet. I wouldn't even swear it's an EA problem, it might be Empty4 playing silly buggers. I'd call myself experienced with computers and Empty4, and I can normally work through the settings or the logs to work out why Empty4 is doing the strange things it does but this one has me stumped.

The EA cycles through when I load it onto a chart and highlights things in the grid and maybe even considers some trades (according to the logs), one time it even took a trade, then that's it - it does absolutely nothing else. The grids don't change, it never looks for more trades, if I don't touch it for a week (it's on a vps) then there will be a week between log entries.

Other EAs on that copy of Empty4 run with no problems, and the MADdash indicator works fine and continually updates. Live trading is turned on in the EA and in Empty4.

Any suggestions ?
