I also had a strange thing on my GP demo. 3 sell Eurnzd positions were closed in profit. All Eurnzd buy stop and sell stop pendings were closed. Only one buy positions was not closed. I have closed it later (when i awoke) manual. A loss...
I trade HGBnG as a basket with Milanes simpleallpairbasketmanager. Just started this week.
Right now a new basket is closed in profit(so far every day a basket is closed in profit)
Very impressed by the results!!! Running it on 2 GP demo's. Very different results, but both in deep profit!!! It feels very good demoing this EA.

Maybe a double check so that all positons are closed?

V 2b is in post 1. This contains a teensy code change, but one that is ridiculously important and you can easily make for yourselves (see post 2 if you do not know how).

Kevin has just sent me a pm pointing out that 2074:
SemStatus = "No open trades, so not reading the 3 level indi to lower the pressure on the cpu";

effectively stops HGB from closing trades when there is a semafor signal. If using CloseTradesOnRelevantSemafor, HGB only checks for a new signal at the open of a new candle. If using CloseImmediatelySemaforAppears, he checks once a minute. Either setting, the bot will only find a signal for a tick, then revert to "No open trades, so not reading the 3 level indi to lower the pressure on the cpu";

Make the edit for yourselves by commenting out the line thus:
//SemStatus = "No open trades, so not reading the 3 level indi to lower the pressure on the cpu";

The code will turn grey when you comment it out. It will look like this:

The error crept in because I was trying to do something about the chart Semafor status display being a blank line. I will sort out an alternative in time for next week. In the meantime, this code edit/download is essential.

Oh thanks guys I have been trying so hard to track down why it was showing this on my charts. No one else had mentioned it and I did not want to be moved to that special group we've all heard about who can merely read posts!

On the rare occasion that they could be bothered to read my posts, most people would be asking, "Where did you see that?"

It can be a bit of a bugger when you feel you are the only one taking any notice of something blindingly obvious.

That is the downside of ruling a forum by terror. The upside is that we are free of the usual bollocks that infests other forums. Nothing is ever perfect.

To make you feel better, you and Kevin and perhaps a few others noticed this, which I had not - busy day teaching. I would have noticed eventually, but a teaching day tomorrow so I might not have noticed until several hundred dollars had left the account that should not have done.

If something like this happens again I will be sure to PM so as not to be too embarrassed by the reply should it be on the harsh side.
