Just one funny thing to watch: using the "close all trades and delete all pendings" script on the chart while GW still running. Who´s faster?

I find it absolutely ridiculous that your government is telling you how to or best say how not to trade when the rest of the world can do what they want i.e hedging.

They are not the absolute best on spreads if you open a micro account but better and more competitive when you open a regular account. I recommend that you check out Tallinex.com. I think they are accepting US citizens.

PS: I am swapping over from Tallinex to GP simply as I trade a micro account and spreads are a bit more. But other than this fact, Tallinex are a very reputable broker.

Thanks Daniel, it is absolutely ridiculous! I am indeed with Tallinex since I was with FinFX before and they stopped taking US cit. Anyway, I don't want to take away from the thread. good luck and green pips my friend. :hi:

They are odd.

The $500 starting balance demo is now worth > $650. Drawdown has always been comfortably lower than the accrued profits - currently c. $40 with a hell of a lot of trades open - EU and GJ. GJ is outdoing EU by 2284 pips to 178. Two pairs on a $500 account is definitely overtrading.

The oddity is the $100,000 starting balance trading 1 lot per trade. The balance is currently a few dollars short of 104,000 but the dd is $22,000 ish.

I can live with a 20% dd on a $500 account, even on a $1000 account. But a fifth dd on a $100,000 account? With a margin level of 374%? Don't fancy that much.

I would settle for $400 daily, and be pleased with the 2% DD.....

Of course. It is 2% not 20%. You can see I am not used to dealing with trading of this magnitude.

Actually, you 100K demo is down 22%.
But instead of trading 1lot, I would settle for 0,1lot and get 'only' 10% of the current profits with 10% of the current DD as well.

I'm up 40% in a week.
Leaning towards greater pip-distance with TP=distance.
