... yep I don't trust their calendar as it has caught me out a few times with things not listed. Not that MyFxBook is 100% accurate either but hey, compare both.

I believe the strategy itself is a winnen, if just the DD and the amount of orders can be controlled.
I'm averiging 1.000 pips a day, using 8 pairs (all USD and GBPJPY). DD is floating around 15% with a spike to 30% last week.

I had all JPY pairs on demo and stopped opening new baskets 2hours after the news. Just waiting on USDJPY basket to close now...

I am in Thailand at the moment so it wasn't an early start ... yes have been keeping an eye on your FxBlue and looks really solid progress which inspired me to get playing with this.

... all trades closed now and I must say rather happy with this morning's performance. In fact so pleased that I have restarted the demo and added all USD pairs and now stop opening new trades at noon.

Below are the results from starting 15mins before the JPY news this morning with the standard 5 pip GJ set.

One thing I noticed is the difference in margin requirements between demo [1:400] and live [1:100].

For some reason what has worked for me is setting the pip grid at 10 pips, 10 pips TP, max distance between group 5000, hedge options at 0 except the actual basket money TP of £5.

I don't understand the mechanism behind it but even though the L4 send opposite grid option is set to TRUE, it doesn't send a whole bunch of open trades all the time. I find it pointless anyway. Too many clogged up positions around the L4 creating loads of DD.

I don't know how accurate Empty4 is with their reports but it says my maximum DD was 8.67%.

Being on trade day 4 of my new demo setup of GBPJPY I have managed +1113.5 pips. This is truly amazing on a set and forget EA that I can average 200-300 pips per trade day. If this keeps up, I might be able to retire in a few years based on a small live account I hope to start in April
