Thanks for your kind comments Steve. I have setup HGB ea while taking my time reading all the rest of the 220 pages of the main HGI forum. I really like what I am seeing! It's a shame they didn't have this 10 years ago when I spent a lot of wasted time trailing stories about EAs, Indis and trading systems that just didn't work. Although, I don't regret my forex adventure. There is a lot of stuff I would not have learned if it was as easy as HGI. None the less, new traders are truly blessed for having been given a silver platter to start off with.

Happy Easter to you all. Please dont hit me in case this question has been answered already. I have been through this thread and I cant see hence I am asking:

Because I know the HGI indi works best on a platform which is open 24/7 due to the way it calculates data, I have a virtual platform so Empty4 can run continuously. Unfortunately, because of this, memory consumption is very high and the platform keeps shutting down.

Is there any solution to this? Actually i am not sure if the memory issue is down to the HGI or the actual HGI matrix (can i ask if that needs to be on 24/7 also?)

And remember, please dont hit me.

So I have been lurking around here for a bit and trying to figure everything out without asking noob questions.

I ended up downloading thebasics HGI zip from the main thread, as well as the template that I found in this thread since it had been deleted off the main thread.

My question is that I am still missing the TMA indis and my charts dont look like the ones from the guide.

Thoughts? I feel like I am missing indis and maybe the templates I am using arent the right ones.

templates are outdated and will not any longer work..

Well that makes a lot of sense then! Are you all just making your own template and going with it off the manual?

you should add all indicators you like to have to a blank template and that then save..

Hi!
Like most everyone I also have made the HGI an integral part of my trading, and wish to add my thanks to NanningBob for his graciousness in allowing it to be so.

I do have a query re the configuration of it that I am unable to fathom out.

For my style of trading; all I particularly want is the Wavy Trend lines to show on the screen -- nothing else; no screen alerts; no sounds, no nothing.

My challenge is that I can get the Wavy lines OK; but I continually get all the alerts as well. (see attached)

Can someone please tell me (point me in the right direction to find out) how I can remedy that so I am not continually copping sound alerts for stuff I don't need.
