Hi krzysiekqq2,

With default settings, the grids are just placed in case there are open losing trades. If the position is unhedged and running in profit as a semafor signal appears, the position gets closed out and there is no need to place new grids. The cycle is over and HGB'nG starts looking for a new signal.

Kevin, thanks for confirmation. I kept them running with hope, that when they close, new grid will be send continuing the HGI signal. Still with extreme gorgeous results of +1150 pips today. Thanks to Steve and you.

The bot will not take trades in the teeth of a high semafor on the previous candle.

I face the following on the version 1a and I use the same set file from the previous version 2n. I switch off all the RAD trading and MA filters and maintain the same settings from the version 2n. I wonder what happen, is there a bug in this version 1a as this doesn't happen on 2n. Kindly please advise.

Hi All,
I got myself set up with some demos and everything looks good

Having trouble with the FIFO Scripts for closing trades and pendings. I've tried both of them and they don't seem to close anything. I've got the right magic in them etc... I've used other scripts for HGB etc for other things and they work fine so not sure what I'm doing wrong...

Any help on this appreciated, I'll try some more and have a look at the code just cause I'm curious how its set up, always wondered how they do things different for fifo stuff.

Also, I'm a long time user of Oanda so maybe something not agreeable with their set up, just guessing I haven't had a problem with them before though...

Edit:
I added the "CountOpenTrades()" to the two "ForceTradeClosure" if statements and now it works like its on fire , just got lucky with that, figured it wouldn't hurt to try, it looked like the only thing that could be missing. Same fix applies for both the "Close all trades this pair only FIFO.mq4" and the
"Nuclear Option FIFO.mq4".

I didn't try the non FIFO code so someone might want to check it but my guess is that its fine because it doesn't use the "CountOpenTrades()" function and someone would have probably fixed it by now.

I like how you use the arrays, just starting to understand them a little, thanks for all you do Steve, your the best and thanks to all who contribute and help build these awesome ea's for me to work with.
