Fired up a new demo with GP

Installed all the gismo's I want to use and made up my gameplan for next week.
Closed some trades on a semafor, and 1 basket by the manager.
196 pips banked in a few hours.

I have development plans for our little bot this weekend.

I am going to import the four moving averages from HGB and his Ma in a Hedge. Just trading the four biggies and GJ, the balance has risen from $5,000 to $5,800 with nothing like the DD that HGBnG generates. The reason is that his lurking ma only takes HGI signals in the direction of the trade as calculated by the four moving averages.

I am also going to import Bob's 240/60 H4 double moving average filter. They will both have a Usexxxxx choice.

Traders will be able to:

trade the stop and limit system if their broker is a criminal who does not allow hedging.
trade as HGBnG currently is.
trade him with his ma holding his hand.
trade him with his ma holding his hand whilst they both lurk in a hedge.
all of the above, with Bob's filter.
any combo of the above, plus Bob's filter.

A logic bloop can have hedge trades sent with a different lot size to the trades they are hedging, so that needs fixing.

We need trade comments that show the HGI signal that generated the trade, so I shall add that.

I needed something to do tomorrow.

Great, thanks Steve. I have been manually setting trade direction based on the MAs I use and it does seem to help reduce DD. Very much looking forward to the new options next week.

The latest update is in post 1. This is so far from the original concept that I have reverted to calling it Version 1.

I have fixed the hedge trade lot size bug, possibly, and added individual trade comments to the trading styles so we can see which HGI signal generated the original trade.

I have added both Bob's and tnavi's trend determination filters, so replace Holy Graily Bob and his Ma, in a Hedge with this one if you demoing him. I shall add a set file to the thread to enable him to run as required by default.

I am not sure whose hand HGB was holding when lurking in the hedge, but it definitely was not his mum's. I created the new V1 here from him and found that I had coded reading the MA's and displaying them, but not actually using them in the trade decision. Those of us who have been demoing him have been wasting our time.

The default inputs in the version in post 1 represent my live account set file. Use it at your own risk.

I have updated the user guide with details about the trend filters and their inputs.

You might want to hold of for a day before downloading the new version, just in case someone spots a bloop.

I know and applaud that some of you folks are trying to get into the coding a bit. I have added a 'Note to fledgling coders' to the end of post 2.
