Open letter to Bob. Thank you.

Wow!! Thank you. Dont know what to say about all this. Spent Birthday eating at my favorite restaurant here in Longwood Florida. My daughters, BF, sons came by and we had a great time. Its kind of funny but the guy who introduced me to Forex disappeared within a month and I had to learn on my own and FF. We kind of grew up together in the Forex world. From that first thread where we tried to make Martingale to work, then range trading, to hedging, met Steve and his gang of friends and soon we had a community like no other, to counter trend trading (when I finally started to make consistent money) to trend trading after the wild 2007 markets. We all lost money but over time it took longer and longer to lose it until we werent losing it anymore. Even though I have taken a break from daily trading I still like to talk about it to anyone who will listen. I still get letters from people who still give to my favorite charity and I wonder how many lives have been changed there.

Some of you may remember Noah who fell 5 stories onto a slab of concrete and should have died but didnt. He should of died from his septic shock and infection but didnt. He should not be a normal boy still running around after a dozen of broken bones and pelvis but I saw him in January and he can run. This forum responded in help with the family to pay his medical bills. They dont take insurance in China. You have to pay the bills in advance and then try to recover the money later. Can take 2 years in some cases and then only a percentage. With the help of this forum we got Noah through that first month and the rest was paid by his family. They are now just getting some of their money back. Such are the things we take for granted in the West.

The trip to Europe where my wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary and I met traders from all over the world. Never forget the Persian Restaurant and visiting in London, Madrid, New York, and Iceland. Met Steve for the first time and we spend dinner at a quaint English restaurant. Sure would like to try that again. All in all its a great journey, have friends from every major country in the world and all because we had one goal. Conquer the financial Forex world. Hopefully we have progressed and feel comfortable in our trading.

I thank God he taught me it is better to give than to receive. I have learned more by giving than keep secrets. I am a better person for giving rather than holding on to my little world. Now my world is not so little.

A BD gift. "leppozdra" sent this to me from FF. I had written it 5 years ago yet the wisdom of seems to still fit today. Money Management for Forex and setting goals. I hope you find it helpful.
