Guys/Gals,

I think you should hold off from running the latest v1b on live... :|

Trades are opening and closing immediately when HGI triggers a signal, and then stops when the HGI signal disappears...

The source of the problem is in the block starting at line 4944. Comment it out and the problem disappears.

V 1c is in post 1.

I wanted to make use of the enhanced position snapshot building in my latest shells (void CountOpenTrades()) so I commented out the original in case I needed it, and copied the function from my shell. I forgot to update a couple of variables calculations.

You can check that the bot is working properly by going to line 2472 which is a blank line and inserting:
TrendArrowStatus = Trenduparrow;

Recompile and HGBnG will send a grid. Watch it for a few seconds, then delete the code at 2472 and recompile. The bot will find there is no signal, and so will delete the grid.

I forgot to add to my previous that I have reinstated a safety feature that went AWOL somehow.

PostTradeAttemptWaitSeconds tells HGBnG not to attempt to trade for (default) 3 minutes after attempting to send a trade. This is a vital feature so you must not disable it with a zero value input.

My initial tests of this latest bot v1c seems to be working as expected now :-)

Will see how it goes in the next few hours...

NB: My demos running v2p (my version with 34EMA, 15min TF) is running hot at 0.03 lots (0.01 per 1000 sizeofgollop) hence the large drawdown... will be changing to 0.01 per 2500 to reduce the drawdown and give the account a bit more breathing room... it's the pips that count, so reducing lot size shouldn't affect it :-)

This is a teensy change whose need only becomes clear if you manually close your market trades and the bot fails to delete the outstanding stop/limit orders.

Line 4957
if (PendingTradesTotal <= GridSize)

needs to be:
if (PendingTradesTotal < (GridSize * 2) )

because a full grid will consist of GridSize * 2 trades - default 10. If there are less than 10 stop/limit orders and no market order, then a market order has closed/been closed, trading is over for the time being and the pending trades are no longer required.
