My list looks almost exactly like yours except most of my trades have already been triggered and in a little bit of drawdown atm. Jumped the gun a bit early Still have faith in them though, probably best to wait for the start of the London session to start taking trades!

I just set some trades to trigger on a 4H 5.1 MA touch in direction of Daily trend. They all straight away went negative but all good, am holding on to them all for now.

SHORT
AUDJPY
AUDUSD
NZDUSD
AUDCAD

LONG
GBPAUD

I've noticed that the blue MA touch seems to work best if:

For a SHORT the blue MA is above the green and maroon MA's.
For a LONG the blue MA is below the green and maroon MA's.

I'll keep checking this out but those seem to be very good setups because the price has retraced significantly. Please comment if you have any thoughts on this.

Hi Jemook, first off thanks for this great thread. As I was reading your SHORT and LONG rules, I was confused when you say, "For a SHORT the blue MA is above the green and maroon MA's.
For a LONG the blue MA is below the green and maroon MA's." Aren't they the other way around? Thanks.

I was just saying that when looking for a short using the 4H blue MA (price is above the 4H blue MA) then it seems the trades have a better R:R when the MA's are lined up so green and maroon underneath it. Sorry can't explain it any better.. Don't worry though it isn't part of the system.

jemook, you once commented that you use sh's 10.2 autotrader ea for monitoring for potential trades. i have tried to set that up, too, but observed only ranging trades, no trend entries. would you please say what extern values you have changed from their default settings, and any ideas you have as to why i am not getting dt or ut trades?

You should have all historical data(so 10.2NB Slope indi)

For info, I tried the "Shelly" EA this morning. Set it to activate before London open. Was doing really good the first 90 mins. I set the t/p level too high though (400 pips) - got to around 350 'ish and then the retrace happened. Just thought I'd let you guys know if you are using Shelly that its best to correlate t/p to number of trending pairs like fozgirl said. I had around 10 pairs open, so at 30 pips a pair, I should have set it to 300 pips. I think 20-30 pips a pair is a safe range to use as a proxy when setting basket size t/p.

So my opened positions have been up and down today! Just went into profit again. I'm going to sleep now so let's see how they are in the morning. Tried Shelley's EA at the open of London and was blown away by it. Will keep testing it out on a seperate demo.

i think shelley ea should combine with mtpm to reduce risk of bounce.
