Shelley's multi-pair basket trader

I assume that it doesn't matter what pair one has the EA loaded on - I use GJ D1 - but it hasn't taken any trades for 48 hours and all the slope indicators are showing flat.

Any I being dumb or have a missed something

Hi Steve or any expert programmers,

After I drop the EA onto the chart, I cant get into its properties. It just wouldnt open. Could it be my Empty4 version issue? Any help would be appreciated.

Just drag another copy of the ea onto your chart and reset the properties that way.

Thanks to Steve for the ea, to Nanningbob for the trading strategy, to Shelley for the particular way of trading and many others who contributed to the development of the NB 10.2.

I set the ea to start trading at London open yesterday , closed all trades at 12.00 hr BST and re-started the ea again at NY open. I observed during the London open and NY open yesterday that profits started rolling in within five minutes after open, then price peaked at about 45 minutes later. On each occasion the profits peaked at 350 pips and then started to retrace.

It is as if a coiled spring is let loose at the session open releasing all that pent up energy.

It would be interesting to see if this is a repeatable pattern. If it is, then you need to trade for only 2 x 50 minutes per day !

Dixpat, do you have the "10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA" indicator in your Indicators folder?

Right now the EA chooses which TF to take it's TMA Slope reading from (I'm using D1).

I'm wondering if the EA only took trades which were extreme trending (greater than .08 or less than -.08) on BOTH the H4 and D1 if the trades would be any better. Just a thought I wanted to share.

you must have
a) Shelley.mq4 : to expert folder
b) 10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA.mq4 : to indicator folder
c) NB 10.2 TMA Slope Display v0.3.mq4 :to indicator folder

Post 1 mentions only 2 files, but actually you need these 3.

Jemook, you keep mentioning : greater than 0.08, but actually it is 0.8 and -0.8 that are used as the buy/sell criterion.

It would be naive to think that the above pattern is repeatable. The market is trending at the moment. There will be periods when it will move sideways.

Just wondering now the WeeklyOpenHistogram has been added to the expert, will this indicator need to be in the indy folder as well, that is if anyone is using the latest version in Post 1.

Just a thought?
