Shelley's multi-pair basket trader

Here is how it works with all the files :
The second file, mentioned in post 1 is a different indicator. It shows in one glance for all currencies in 3 timeframes, what the directions are. (slope display indicator)

Both Shelley's EA and this slope display indicator need the TMA indicator. That is the mentioned '10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA.mq4'

Hey Shelley - what time did you start your EA? London open (around 3 1/2 hours ago)? Which of your pairs hit BE as mine haven't come close yet?

Hey Dave, this is my manual trading (I didn't get the EA set up properly as the one I downloaded from post 1 today didn't have the BE pips stuff in it), gbpjpy trade triggered break even but has since retraced and closed at BE+5.

I took them about 4 1/2 hrs ago ( a little bit early as that's when I had the time)

I've probably got approx half the drawdown I had a couple of hours ago

BreakEvenProfitPips should default to 200 and
BreakEvenProfitPipsLock to 20

Hallo Shelly,
What do you mean with "the BE pips stuff" ?

When you trade manually, do you consider a BE for every separate currency ?

By the way : The DD for today in my positions is reduced to - 170 pips at the moment from -300 something.

Cheers Dave, I have it set up now, but obviously will be waiting until Monday to trade.
I have set it for 4pm (AEST) which is 1 hr before London open. Manually I was taking the trade's about 30min before London open, but the EA only works on whole hours, so I would prefer to get in 1 hr early rather than right on open. There is generally a build up of trading in this time which I would like to catch.



Also, cadjpy has just edged slightly into profit as well

When I trade manually, I set mptm up with a BE 25/5
that is when a trade reaches 25 pips profit the SL is moved to BE + 5pips and yes this gets activated on each pair

I received a lot of this error message. Reading the thread, I thought it had been resolved. How could I fix it ? Thanks in advance.

You have to place this indicator 10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA into your experts/indicator folder

Thanks, I have. The error only relates to USDJPY. I don't know why?

May be I am using a different version, do you mind send me your version.

Problem seems to have been solved by re-compiling the indicators. So if there is issue, try re-compiling. Hope this helps others run into the same problem.

Most of the pairs in the 0.8 Slope range are either related to USD or JPY. Stick this little indy somewhere on ONE of your charts (one chart only as it uses a lot of memory) - only when these two currencies go back above 7 or 8, will your open orders move in the right direction again....

If the currencies do not gain strength, the D1 slope will slowly but surely move back below the 0.8 level - money management is key!
