Dave, attached is the setfile I am running on my live VPS - yes, I have graduated to the ranks of those needing a vps.

There are others here reporting a lack of success and I have no idea why. Our old friend timing, perhaps? Don't really know.

PS: the experimental version is kicking serious ass and is a leading contender to replace this version on my live trading account, yet nobody appears to be taking any notice of it. You guys wouldn't care to re-evaluate the less intelligent of your herd-following instincts, would you? Actually thinking about what is going on here might make you a tad more successful. Hard concept to grasp, I know, but give it a try.

I have taken serious notice of the experimental version!

I was running 3 different tests with it: One with 2.5% equity gain close, one with 10% equity gain close, and one totally hands free.

The hands free version was far in the lead until today when the 10% equity close version passed it, because of the hands free version going into DD due to more open trades.

I abandoned the 2.5% version because although probably safer it was falling way behind the other 2, and in my opinion the 10% version is just as safe so far.

Here is the 10% version for this week so far

I will be continuing to run both side by side and update on my findings...so far THIS THING KICKS ASS :!!:

I solved this last week. I have this solved in the V 1q I have loaded into my editor eg line 4720:
ClosurePrice=NormalizeDouble(iHigh(Symbol(),TradingTimeFrame,0) -(SemaforRetrace/factor),Digits);

Are you on 1q but the line is not as I posted above?

Just check v 1q and confirm the normal version is using iHigh() at line 4720 and iLow() at line 4785.
However the experimental version is still using iClose() at line 4835 and 4900. They also should be iHigh() and iLow(), am I correct?

It takes relatively few trades with the Bob filter but good entries, mostly closing out manually for profit, loss being closed with Semaphore signal and RnR 1 addition.

Try downloading 1 Q again as I just did and 4835 & 4900 DO have those changes...

Results for 2 weeks of HGBnG (non experimental). The table shows the last week only, the graph shows the whole 2 week period.

The massive dip in the middle is where I updated the HGBnG EA itself, 'closed all' and swapped the single MA filter for Bob's MA filter. Fairly impressive results using 0.1 lots on a 10k GP demo.

Been demoing PPoS, Gertes' daily open GW plan, RnR and trying to learn so coding myself with Steve's shell EA (with some success ...well it compiles with no errors anyway). Based on those results, next week I will be going live with Daily Open and HGBnG experimental on a penny account.

Exciting stuff at SHF; my poor computer has steam coming out of it.

I forgot to add that I have been using HGBnG 100% hands free, no TPs or SLs.

I have had the experimental version on live cent account test this week with Trend Arrow only and even with ridiculous cent account spreads has done well. It will be on my main live Global Prime account next week.

I have been running the experimental version this week on demo with excellent results so far....
I have all the trading styles set to true, grid size of 2 and no MA filters.
