Finding maps is a tedious and time cosuming task, so I look for them only on a bigger scale, daily and up. Some work and some fail. The problem is that you never know when price stops following a map (at least for me, I don't know how CJ handles this). As I already said in previous posts, the key is finding them in early stages for higher probability.

In my trading I use those HTF maps just for general bias and confluence but never as only entry reason.
I never got the levels counting right, so I took the pattern repetition aspect and integrated it in my trading style (based on price reading, liquidity stop hunting, wave cycles...).

Don't try to catch a falling knife. Unless you're absolutely sure you can.

This week on EU has all stop hunts. There is an "M" pattern there to suggest price is falling to 1.12, however I'm not going short till 1.13 or better yet short after the first pullback.

It's been a very hard week on EU, full of indecisiveness. A week of stop hunts is a real test of patience.

We'll see how this plays out.
