kwchau, how do u recompile the indis?

go to navigator, locate the indicator, right click it, then click modify. The MetaEditor will be opened with the indicator. Click compile. Then, although I have not done so, I guess it is better to restart Empty4 after re-compilation.

-Right click on the indicator you require compiling in the indicator window.

-Click 'modify', this will open Empty4 editor.

-Look on the top tool bar for 'compile' and click it.

-Then save back into the indicators folder.

-Restart your platform.

Thanks guys..... did the compile of indis and also the EA, save em already, reboot Empty4, put them in order of indi first, then load the EA. On a new chart.

Grrrrr........................still the same. Tried w 2 brokers, alpari uk and oanda.

Can you try to load the Shelley EA in ONE chart and the slope display indicator in the other chart ? separately ?
How does that work ?

Kelisa, there are 2 indicators you need:

10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA.mq4

and

10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30.mq4

It can be confusing as the names are very similar.
Just double check and make sure you have both of these indicators in your indicator folder.

I had the same problem as you at first and only realised after a couple of days that I only had 1 of the indicators.

My laptop is having a hard time churning through all this

Am I right in saying the EA has to be on every chart ?

What's meant by Adaptive pips take profit in the EA

you must have
a) Shelley.mq4 : to expert folder
b) 10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA.mq4 : to indicator folder
c) NB 10.2 TMA Slope Display v0.3.mq4 :to indicator folder

Post 1 mentions only 2 files, but actually you need these 3.

OK, all conditions met:

You still have an issue there - notice your slope indicator has all pairs as ranging and you have no status after each pair on the EA display. I suggest, if it didn't trigger, that you put the 10.2 TMA slope v.1.4B 4.30 for EA.mq4 indi on your chart and not the standard one. I thought you only needed it in the folder but if you have both in the indi folder and you have restarted Empty4 then this is all I can suggest.

Hmmm. This is weird, as I'm only using the 2 files on page 1, and it all works fine for me. Triggers trades, and I can see the "Sell and Hold" status next to each pair on my chart that the EA is attached to.
I obviously can't see the "dashboard" with the pairs and the 3 slope indicsators for h1, h4, d1, but I have found that it doesn't affect the opening or closing of trades if I don't have that on the chart.

b) Y1=AdaptivePipsTakeProfit is an average profit per your open trade. If you have for example 7 open trades and Y1=25 pips, then the EA closes out at 7*25=175 pips in total profit.
