if I have correctly understand the method there is a small problem with these parts of code :

at line 978

when we see the example below between the trades 3 and 4 we should have a buy at 1.13655 but as we already have a buy trade at 1.13755 "Ask" is under "HighestBuyPrice + (DistanceBetweenTrades / factor)" so under 1.13855 and the trade is not open

Now I can see why doing the visual test I noticed that the bot doesn't reopen trades in between the extreme buy/sell orders. Seems to be a serious bug, thanks for reporting. Hopefully will be fixed soon. The bot and the method are absolutely great!

Which bit of this from post 1 do you dimwits not get:

Once a trade is open in either or both directions, RnR takes a new buy trade every time the market rises above the highest buy price by DistanceBetweenTradesPips, and a new sell trade every time the market falls below the lowest sell price by DistanceBetweenTradesPips.

Now stop bleating about what the bot does not do and start working with what it does do. If what it does do does not work, then this will emerge.

I am starting to get seriously angry.

I spent much of the last two weeks coding this fucking thing. I spent much of today writing the fucking post 1.

There are those who think my lethal temper is something to be feared. It is not unless you are the one to have caused me to lose it. It passes.

The slow burn of simmering irritation and resentment is something different. My slow burn is simmering humongously tonight and has yet to reach its height. Bear that in mind if you are contemplating posting elsewhere in shf. The most recent dimwits are now consigned to the bin of members unable to do anything more than read posts and download attachments, a few hours after they first irritated me. Best to leave me alone tonight.

I will reopen this thread on Wednesday, possibly. If my slow burn has stopped. Don't count on it. My slow burns have been known to last a while. By then, I expect people to have gained an understanding of what this bot does. I will expect coders who have spotted bloops that I have not corrected in the meantime, to provide solutions, not bleats that such-and-such does not look right.

When I reopen this thread, I shall expect members to behave intelligently and make useful contributions.
