I was able to use almost all the versions. Latest one I am using on live is 1q.

I am using 1q now, two instances live both the 'experimental stop and limit'.
One has Bob MA filter and now no RAD trigger, H4
Second has no filters but only big trend arrows for entry.
First has lost most of the last two weeks spectacular gains this week but in profit.
Second seems less volatile and steadier profit progress.

Do keep an eye on the OOTB Grid settings... I noticed it had been changed back and forth as HGB'nGrid had been updated along it's course to v1r, make sure it's what you want the EA to do as it can have an impact on your results...

Peter is correct, Do keep an eye on OOTB people. There are two versions in post 1. 1r is what I am currently testing with "Stop Orders Only" if it does go well. i'll be using it on live. If not I will disable the settings.

Here is the difference for those who are bit confused.

I'm getting lot's of questions on how I'm trading. I will make a detailed post on my style, settings and metal take profits I use and why in few days. I do not use anything else other than this ea, i.e no money managers, just good old gut feeling and mental tp.

There is not magical set file that I use people. It's mostly OOTB because honestly Steve has it locked down pretty good. I like to think of this thing as a Ferrari, It will get you from point A to B but if you want to mess with all the bells and whistles on the way from A to B. That's totally up to you guys. Maybe you'll find a setting that's more profitable. Everything in this ea including the shell stuff is designed to make it better. Run bunch of different demo to your liking and just play with it.

Last but not least, never put on an ea on your live account without testing it on DEMO first. See it's behavior for a day or two and make sure it's doing what you intend for it to do.

V 1s is attached for the coders. Feel free to load it onto your demos if you want to play with it, but I am sure the code will change before the markets reopen after the weekend.

Is has offsetting added for hedged stop only system users. Key line numbers are:
224/5 defines two 4 field arrays to hold buy and sell ticket numbers.
27+ defines the fields. The arrays are initialised and filled in the usual way, in CountOpenTrades()
3667+ sorts the arrays into descending order.

4725 opens the function that looks for offsetting:

4734 - 4783 examines an unhedged pair with at least 4 open trades. It looks to offset the loser at the extreme with the winner at the opposite end, if the loser is at least DistanceBetweenTradesPips in the hole.
4788 - 4911 examines hedged positions and attempts to offset the largest loser in the losing group by some of the profitable trades in the winning group.

I find stuff like working out which end of a group of trades to start calculating profits etc really hard. Can any of you guys spot any bloops in the logic?

V 1t is in post 1, along with the updated user guide. There is a full description of how Offsetting works in int own section in the guide, and I have detailed the inputs in the usual place.

I have fully implemented Offsetting for both trading methods. You cannot use the previous version for offsetting Stop and Limit trading - the code was rubbish.

I have made sure that the inputs in 1t are the equivalent of my set file; use them at your own risk. You might want to turn of Offsetting on your live accounts just in case there is something seriously wrong with the code - it is enabled by default.

The headline figures for last week look bad, but remember that I closed out about 400 pips after the DD had reduced from c. $2,200 to under $400, allowing me to consolidate c. $2,200 of banked profit from the previous weeks. I withdrew $1,000 to celebrate.

ACad/Chf and GU were part of the consolidation closure earlier in the week. The GJ is from Greedy Wotsit. I put him on my trading account to see what would happen, and awoke to 105 open trades.

0.01 lots, hence the cash loss being relatively insignificant.

I lose money every time I use a different ea to HGBnG. I think The Great God of Forex might be telling me something.

My experiment with stop and limit orders only took a bath this week. The Offsetting code was bollocks and could not possibly work, so I shall let the account run a little longer with V 1t.

The hands-off demo started with $7,000 and now has a balance of $9,459. DD is c. 25%, so it will be interesting to see if the bot can eliminate it with offsetting.
