Hi Guys and brilliant input from U Trader Joe......anyway reversal thursday has been upon us...and tomorrow being friday should take care of the trend direction provided we are still above or below the weekly open we still have a chance in the original trend direction and provided we are still maintaining above or below the weekly open.....

anyway also after the 21 st of every month trend changes could happen,,,,tomorrow crucial for me in terms of the intermediate term trend on all currency pairs...all things we pick up here in our trading endeavours at Steve's forum

The exit is always a challenge but I am trying something manually and will see how it works.

Trading strength against weakness should give us an edge and get us into good trades. Therefore if the trade is not moving within 10 - 15 pips I want it closed. That's me. My exit strategy is to exit on the cross of 5/12 MA on the M1 TF. Tried this with the EA and it closed several trades that should have given good pips even when the MAs did not cross but price did go back on both MAs. I have now changed it to a 5/37 MA and will see what happens tomorrow/next week.

Just wondering who may be getting better results than this?
I'm trading 1Hr and most days I close EA for the first half of the trading day. You can see that where the orange and blue lines flatten out together on the trade chart. It just depends how I feel the market is going at the time.
Anyone doing better than this and keeping it to themselves??

It would be great to see some more results, Mine is over the last three weeks.

This is my goal - 30 minutes of trading and done for the day. If this can be consistent, then I just increase the lot size :hi:

I'm new at this forum and very impressed with what you guys have achieved here. Almost unique!

Pathenry, it would be great if you would share your setfile. That would give the new comers to this threat a head start! I'm still reading the threat

Also, i'm trying to setup MPTM but unfortunately i can't compile the mq4 file as it is giving 24 errors. I guess its not compatible with the latest Empty4. Can someone please post a working compiled version? (ex4 file)

Please find attached in Post 1, the new MADTrader, which is a replacement for MAD-EA. Post 1 also includes the mq4 source code for MADTrader.

The dashboard logic and the trading logic in MAD-EA has been decoupled, and now you need MADDY (the indicator) and MADTrader (the EA), to run this. This setup is more advantageous for reasons of maintainability, flexibility and efficiency.
