I was in a hurry writing my previous as I thought I had a victim coming, but he has changed to Thursday.

There is also this in Bruster's PM:

I've also added back in the single sided complex closure. This is part of the original system, but as before, I've put this on a user bool because I don't know yet whether it gives a benefit. At least now it's working correctly!

The input is AllowSingleSideOffsets. Is this what you were after, Pat?

Curious where this will end.
Over 130 0.02 lot trades for some profit, GP made more in commission on this....

V 1j is in post 1.

The code-testing craptest froze instantly, going into an endless loop where it was trying and failing to close a trade that no longer existed. I have removed the code that might produce this loop and the craptest is proceeding cheerfully.

It's the leaky toilet. It wiped out a demo where I was trading 0.01 lots per $1,000 as successive partial sl's were hit.

Live, I am just 150 pips DD with no cash concern at all because of my tiny lot sized. There might be a message for us there.

That is probably pretty standard today. The toilet leaked to international standards.

I have just funded a tiny live GP trading account for a much loved former victim - minimum deposit $500 AUS. By a happy chance, the funds did not arrive in time for trading today, as I intended setting RnR loose on it hoping for the best. Had I been able to trade the account today, I am sure it would now have only $400 in it.

I will let you guys know how this account gets on when I do finally manage to set RnR on it. For sure, the former victim is definitely trading with funds he can afford to lose.

I did not actually blow that demo I was talking about earlier, but the repeated partial emergency closures had a dramatic effect on the balance - and would have been a sickener had I been a noob depositing $10,000 for the first time.

Leaky toilet markets happen. The art is surviving them. Here is what today has taught me vis a vis RnR:

trade only one pair, and a volatile one at that. My recommendation is GJ. I could be wrong.
trade a maximum of 0.01 lots per $2,000 of balance

My conclusions may change with experience. We shall see.

I shall be heavily over-trading my former victim's account. It will make rapid progress if I am lucky; it will blow up quickly if not.

In the meantime, the fun craptest I am running at the mo has turned his $500 into $1,221,841,906 and it is less than half way through. I get a bit hazy after 6 digits, but I think this is a billion plus some odd change of a hundred million or two. Not sure this is entirely realistic.

It is good fun and hey, most billionaires started out with somewhat less.

... from what I can see I think $500 will be a risk ..$2000 just maybe enough. I have the same dilemma because I want to put this on my GP main account but I feel it's safer on cent account for now despite the high spreads.

On the back test scenario.. try starting Jan 2016 with GJ ... unfortunately it paints a less favorable picture than starting 2015 or earlier for some reason... and I don't understand why given the nice strong movement this year?
