Hi Guys

My new settings that I posted yesterday...not a bad performance..Open and closed trades currently at 965 pips

the reason why I decreased my trading timeframes to 5 and 15 minutes was to see if I could not get a better performance out of my stack trades and a remarkable improvement on 5 and 15 minutes...

anyway thanks for all the thank you's

Hi Guys I got a pm asking me how to use ma stacking..

It is simple really..U open madtrader v 1.1 and click on method of entry = use proper ma stacking for entry. Stacking just means the ma must stack up in the correct order fast above slow for a buy and fast below slow for a sell. I am using slow ma 8 and 4 ma fast here linear weighted..

Remember once your conditions are ready for a buy or sell on maddy v1.7 the ea madtrader v 1.1 will still look for these conditions before opening a trade..an extra condition

Hi guys here is my mad trader v1.1 ma stack file. it must be uploaded to mad trader v 1.1. this is the Ea that feeds off the indicator Maddy v 1.7..I have a feeling that some guys are getting confused...you can have as many of this ea running as you like on different charts with different settings.....these ea's all feed off the Maddy v1.7 indicator dashboard.

I still trade london open and new york open and if my trades are locked in profit I will run it for the next day..the choice is yours I still remain a medium term trader...if you want to close at the end of each day please do so

I am currently running with Mptm set to 50 pips and b/even 10 pips with a jumpstop of 50 pips...this is good because you will see in my setfile that I have close trade set to "close trade if Ma crosses back" and "close trade if opposite Hgi trend arrow" all working for me so far but if the trend makes a run for it my Mptm Ea kicks in...

Hi Guys

Mad ea results so far from the 26th with my new settings - open and closed trades 1691 pips not too bad

You will notice with these settings that you dont get trades too often and trades are only based on fresh signals with a short lookback....very much based on Georges thinking..

I also like the fairly low drawdown with losers closed out quickly based on the ma cross and Hgi signal in opposite direction...Uj and Gj running nicely with my jumpstop of 50 pips that have kicked in..

The day is still young lets see what the rest of today holds

heh, i was still running mad-ea up till yesterday. Thanks to BOJ, that ruined my beautiful result. Fresh start again, this time with maddy + madtrader.

So waveg, i've read that you are using a few setup for the indi. 60/240, 21/60 and now 8/4. Which one is still active?

btw, i am getting this strange error on expert tab
zero divide in 'hgi_lib.mq4' (60,51) for Madtrader1.1 during opening of trade. Even with hgi_lib.ex4 already in the library. Going to ignore it for a bit...

However, traders are still generated. Will eval if i want to use hgi filter to close. It didn't seem like it wasn't doing well your list when using HGI..

i've read that you are using a few setup for the indi. 60/240, 21/60 and now 8/4. Which one is still active?

Means you have no clue of what I have posted here.....21/60 ma is in my Maddy dash board and 4 and 8 ma is in my Madtrader 1.1 ea

You must use the latest Hgi Lib ex file in the libraries folder make sure all old hgi lib files are deleted.

this one should solve it...

THanks for the jolt, yes i've aligned myself with your posting. Apologies. Been away from this thread for very long to only observe the split of mad-ea just now.

Btw, i think the 5m 240/60 and 15m 60/21 with lookback of 5040min going to get rare triggers. Surprising to see that you had 21 trades max for the past 3.5 days. Thought it would be far lesser.

Yes, my hgi_lib.ex4 is just retrieved off from the HGI thread. I don't have hgi_lib.ex4 in my new instance library before (although i've used it on other instances long time ago). i'll pick your hgi ex4 and give it a run. Thx.

Hi Guys

I got a pm asking me why have I got more trades on my 5 min mad stack set.....the set file I posted has (time in sconds between trades) set at 2700...I have set mine to 60 seeing that trades dont come up that often with my 21/60 maddy dash board...this should give you more trades.....choice is yours
