One pair of closures was a simple sell offset.

The second was a group of 11 buy trades closed by the single-sided complex offset, that did for a huge loser at the top of the pile. We already know that the double-sided complex code is working properly, so it looks as though the latest stuff is correct as well.

Thanks to all of you who helped with this. Bruster broke the back of it but the bloops you guys spotted have helped the development process enormously. Left entirely to me and my scatterbrained inability to think logically much beyond A + B = C, the development would have taken weeks, not days. You dun good, guys.

Watching RnR perform is like a proper work of art now. This really is excellent

I have to agree.
The forward test for the singleside offset (SSO) on/ off is in favour of ON already with 3x the booked profit and 1/10th of the DD compared to OFF.

Well the magic programming you guys did this weekend, does seem to work
The wins are starting to take off and keeping the DD low.

I tested different pairs last week, and narrowed it down to GBPUSD and GBPJPY. After Steve suggested maybe looking at low ADR pairs, I brought EURGBP into the fold, and is is quickly becoming my favorite. I know this is still early and my results for this week are only 4 hours old!!! but then again they are ONLY 4 hours old.

I use 3 pip grid. 20 pip basket and of course Offsetting: true ;)

Thanks for all your hard work. :hi: :hi:

Coming out of lurkwood, only to show my appreciation for those people who have and are doing all the hard work.......thank you :)

Don't have much to offer at this stage in terms of helpfulness to this project, so I wont clog up the thread any longer and go back to my little hidi hole!

My results since market open.

8 pairs.

7 pip step on all pairs - except GJ/GN = 10 pip step.

App. 900 pips floating DD currently.

I love to watch RR trading - downside is I don't get much work done

As I am a visual type of person I've been trying to spot a SingleSideOffsets sample on the chart in order to gain a better understanding of this method. In the process I've changed MinOpenTrades to 3.

Am I correct in saying that the picture below shows the Complex single-sided offsetting method?

Both short trades 2/3 offset trade 1
