Hi Paul,

Couple of questions from your post: Do you run all pairs like 26+

Do you use stop orders or stop and limit?? Apologies if you have already shared these info.

I have restarted my 4 demos this week with the most recent version of HGBnG. Two of the demos are trading the majors plus GJ, one with a 2.5% equity gain close, and one with a 10% equity gain close. The other two are trading all majors and minors, except for the last four minors on the list which are the USD exotic crosses, with the 2.5% and 10% equity gain closures. I think this week I will decide which two demos to carry forward, and whether I will be trying something new with the other two, possible H1 trading or something like that.

The 2.5% equity close has done well in the past, see what this week brings.

Will update at the end of the week.

Thanks for your feedback, it's great to see an idea working and give others inspiration... works great when the broker does not limit the number of stop and limit orders you can submit, and you can trade more currencies with the right money management and within reason... also if you don't mind the odd down days here and there...

What would be useful is if you could add a little description for the Myfxbook demo's you posted it'll help give an idea what version EA you're using and etc... what version HGB'nG EA are you testing from at the moment? I may test this strategy on the latest version of HGB'nG version later on a different demo account...

Even though I can hedge with my trading account, this strategy is potentially useful for those who can't hedge... traderduke is working on a strategy of improving this further using basket TP and SL... which you can follow here: http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =15&t=4698

This is the demo I've been trading HGB'nB v1z (nee v1w) using Stop and Limits orders, 1H TF, 34EMA Trend Filter:

P.S. Please note the presets used in acostafulano demo's are different to the ones I'm using... there's no filter, and the money management are different, but it works for him, hence the inspiration

I've not updated to v2x of HGB'nG yet so I don't see any offsetting settings in v1z, that would probably be for another demo, it this continues to go well I will go live with v1z and the presets attached in previous post.

I can find 10 pairs you are trading, is that correct?
What was the reason for selecting these specific pairs?

I don't want to pick your brain, just trying to find the soft spot here.
