Hi Paul
I went through the revised version but it looks as though it only closes on one day of the week rather than each day. So if possible I am looking to close all open and pending trades whether in profit or not at the same time each day eg 5pm NY time. And not to confuse things but having the ability to close at a different time on Friday would be prudent too.

I see that APTM can do this but the amount of settings in that basket manager is mind-boggling, which is great for some people but will probably get me in to trouble fiddling with that -->> sledgehammer to a thumb tack for my use

Basically I just want to be able to do the daily close as above and TP at 4%. Of course I don't mind paying someone with the programming skills to get it done.

BTW I have been meaning to ask what +ve means

Try MPTM (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... ?f=21&t=64) I think it has a feature for daily close

Here is another result from some testing that is interesting. This is a $10k demo account on GP with the same settings as per my $2k account such as 4% TP and turning off HGBG before the Asian session but I do not remove the open or pending trades each morning.

So during the Asian session the trades are still doing their thing and either get to TP or go further against the price but HGBG is not taking any new trades.

The result was a 26% gain for the week but of course a huge drawdown, which negates that gain almost to the cent. In the real world I would have manually closed all the trades during the week when the basket total got back to only being about $100-$200 down and so that would have helped make it a much better result. However as this is a test I am just letting HGBG do what it wants. It handled the US announcements on Friday night with ease on all my demo account tests.

Sure here it is. I am changing things as I go to try and squeeze out some more profit but this is the basics from the original idea from PeterUK with the 34EMA etc.

You could follow along with my account trading the SO method and Lifesys's trade manager. I usually close all positions on Friday and after healthy profit.

P.S The 4000 pips loss was a result of closing a few gold positions.
