Hi Rene,

Today my GM 1.4 closed some trades very fast. Example: The trade was opened 16:04:55 and closed(loss) after 1 second(16:04:56), could you please add a protection against it? Thank you very much for your support, and efforts.

Yes, I think I should be up and running next week....some downloads over the weekend and I should be ok The problem is that I have to try and remember so many passwords with all the various websites...let alone Steve hopwoods website... was locked out twice and had to solve the Catcha questions

Things just never disappoint here on SHF. These are my results just for today:

For the sake of comparison I've been using 13/34 LMWA (on the open) crossovers on M1-M5-M15 with descending strength signal configs (at least 7-6-5 respectively) and exhaustion configs off. Brilliant Renexxxx..

Strangely, it is still not creating open orders after setting up the dancers with Get Direction Automatically.
What ive done
1) Stopped all the automatic trading
2) change all the GD with Get Direction Automatically
3) start auto trading
4) clear all the global variables
5) force maddy to have a condition to trigger more currency, eg increase the lookback to a much higher number just to see if GD would take the signal from maddy

What you should try is this:
1. Remove all the GDs (you can do this with the GridMaster, by pressing the Rinse and Remove button). You can leave GridMaster running.
2. Clear the Global Variables
3, Make sure that Auto Trading is ON
4. Add the GridDancers to each chart, one by one.

The GridDancers status information, such as Anchor, GridLevel and GridSzie is created during the initialization phase. If you clear these global variables after GridDancer has been initialized, the Dancer is a little confused. I am not sure if this is the reason for not having any trades, but it could be.

Confirmed spooked PC ..lol. Left it where it was before your email, came back an hour later and saw a few trades now. Just trying to figure out why it didn't pick up that earlier pair that did trigger via maddy.

However, what i did notice is the GD status. some pairs is just saying "GD v1.3 is currently trading" while some is showing "GD v1.3 is currently having a break" at the same time. maybe that could be the reason and would need to go through your steps for a refresh.

I have few questions.

Q1
I set Max difference in BUYs and SELLs parameter = 2

My USDJPY trade is now opening Buy:7 Sell:5.
Difference is 2.

After that, No trade was open at all.

Why ?

In this case ,I think new sell trade can be opened if condition is met.
ex. Buy:7 Sell:5 => Buy:7 Sell:9

Q2
After Number of OPEN trades reached 100, it seems new trade was not opened anymore.
Grid Master control total open trades ?

After Number of OPEN trades reached 100, it seems new trade was not opened anymore.

There is no restriction to the number of open trades in GridDancer. Check with your br0ker if they limit the number of open trades.

Attached is my weekly GD/GM result with Maddy.

GD is OOTB.
GM setting is shown in picture.
Maddy setfile is Maddy v 1.7 Dashboard 8 15 - 5 , 15 & 30 mins.set

I have few questions.

I start trading with GD/GM from 31/May.
Balance curve was rising with DD.
It shows Min Take profit $5 setting seems to be working.
I execute RnR by push button manually.
After that GD's panel didnt show equity line.
And Min Take profit $5 setting didnt working.

I think abnormal GD panel may cause this behavior.

Q1:Why Min Take profit didnt work ?
Q2:if GM pannel is abnormal(No equity line/status),How can I solve this situation?

I'm having great success trading using GridDancer/GridMaster OOTB with Direction Bias - Get direction automatically and the Wavegarrick setfile on FX Major currency pairs and now trying to get it as hands free as possible so it would be great if you can add a Weekend Rinse 'n Restart with the following variables when you're next updating the Gridmaster EA?

- FridayStopHour
- MondayStartHour
- MinimumProfit (including swap and commission)

I love the simplicity of the EA system and thank you for coding it for the forum

It looks that after the first RnR (at the end of the first yellow oval line), GridMaster rendered into a defunct state -- it stopped doing its job. It is very difficult for me to analyze/diagnose why that happened. Did you by any chance see a message in the Experts-tab? That message would now be in the \MQL4\Logs\201606xx.log file for that day. It is worth inspecting that file for any error message(s) and let me know.

This particular problem hasn't happened to me (as yet), but if you see that GridMaster is 'hanging', just remove GridMaster and re-attach it to the chart. The GridDancers can be left doing their job.
