Yikes. Our pollies wouldn't dream of a late budget. If I remember correctly, either this years or lasts was actually put out early to try and get some public brownie points.
Having said that, even though we democratically elect the PM, if they annpy parliment enough they can boot them out without a vote. Considerimg this has happened with the last few PM people are rather sick of the 2 party system.
But hey, at least you can still tell the difference between your two parties. We basically have a right and a right these days

Hello Bob,

First off I'd like to thank you for all the amazing work. You truly are changing the way people think about the market, especially those who don't have that much experience. I am following your thread with great interest.

From this week's CSS H4 readings it pops up that the JPY is sloping up while the other Asian currencies start pointing down. My question is whether we should try and anticipate the "trend" shift between the Asian currencies, which you noted are fairly correlated (JPY up should mean NZD&AUD down). So should we already look for AUDJPY and NZDJPY shorts or would it be wise to wait out the complete crosses in CSS, either between the two currencies or the JPY and the 0.2 line?

A big thank you in advance!

Good question. If it looks like they will cross then look for the trade. If there is great distance don't bother until they get closer. Right now they are all bunched in the middle on the 4H CSS so range is the day until something breaks out. Right now on 4H CSS JPY is crossing everything and heading up and USD is following. Daily CSS is confirming this move. So I would look to buy JPY and USD over the next two days.

HGI is set to react faster than CSS because it focuses more on each individual pair where CSS looks at the entire market. Do look for HGI to confirm or has already predicted this movement. So you are correct at looking at CSS and saying HEY this looks like a change is coming and HGI begins showing yellow then blue wavy lines along with large arrows. The two compliment each other.

I am closing a USD/CHF sell for a loss based on this information. USD angling up CHF angling down and yellow wavy lines on 4H HGI. So time to give up on that one. Yes I do have losing trades.

Sticking to the 4H chart again this week. Daily is starting to recover so hopefully it will be coming back soon. Taking longer than I thought.

OK Brexit shock is in, NFP has spoken and the markets are ready to move. Looks simple for this week GBP will start doing some recovery so look for buys as it reacts (I expect strongly) from the Brexit vote. So except for gbp/aud and gbp/nzd I will look to buy GBP against all other currencies.

EUR and CHF should follow but for now going down until GBP sets its new range area.

AUD NZD up and JPY going down. After several weeks of running together they should go back to their more normal correlation. That correlation is when AUD NZD go up JPY goes down or when JPY goes up AUD NZD go down. I expect that pattern to be followed this week. So looking to buy aud/jpy and nzd/jpy.

USD and CAD. USD and JPY have been correlating recently and have been running together so USD/JPY I expect to range. I look for CAD to cross both USD and JPY this week so sell USD/CAD and buy CAD/JPY

So this week I will look for buying AUD and NZD against all currencies excepts GBP. I dont know which one will be stronger even though CSS says AUD and NZD are stronger. However I expect GBP to come back strong this week.

Buy CAD against JPY, USD, EUR, and CHF. So that is what I see.

Had my best week since coming back to trading. Starting to feel the groove.

Did you notice how JPY crossed up during the week and then later crossed down. CSS allowed you to see the change of direction so you could change your trading strategy. Seeing those crosses coming towards each other gives you a heads up to the change of direction and prepare you to look to close and open in a new direction. See pic of HGI for the week and it tells you the same story. CSS allows you to know change is coming HGI allows you to trade the change where and when to enter.

Hey Bob,

I did notice the JPY trend change. Asian currencies are trending really nicely right now. Lots of interesting observations from this week's CSS.

First off you were absolutely right about GBP rallying this week. It has already recovered from being the weakest in H4 CSS to crossing the .2 and entering the uptrend zone. EUR and CHF seem to follow suit.

The weakest so far has been JPY, offering some nice trend movements. Once again it seems like an early observation could lead to something. Please do correct me if I'm wrong but my shallow study shows that either the JPY or the NZD will anticipate the opposite movement of another (ie if NZD starts shifting down, JPY will eventually shift up) and AUD will just lurk in the shadows of NZD, sometimes moving more, sometimes less. Right now the JPY has tumbled pretty badly while NZD is starting to lose momentum as well. I have all my eyes on NZDJPY to see whether HGI will start showing signs of trend shifts there which could lead to the JPY recovery and NZD fall. Right now NZDJPY is on top of a 400 pip rally however, showing no signs of slowing down.

Looking at the daily CSS however, the Asians are ruling the upper trend zone, with JPY crossing down it's counterparts. This would logically indicate that NZD and AUD will continue up unless the "irregular" synchronised movement of all 3 continues. Lots of ?'s.

CAD has been a slight disappointment so far. It seems as USD went up instead. But it's still early in the week and a lot can change.

Anyway thanks for checking in every now and then, it's nice to compare my readings to yours.
Best regards,
Robert

It used to be the AUD always went first. Will have to check and see why the change. Good observations though.
