Thanks Gary - I understand - I guess time will tell if 5-10 pips per pair is too tight or not. My gut tells me that 25 pips on a 5 basket trade isn't much but we'll see. It can always be addressed later if it's an issue I guess.garyfritz wrote:spot, I think the JSL works OK, especially with the changes Steve made recently. It starts out at the AdaptiveBreakEvenProfitPipsLock level (which was why I said that's the initial JSL setting, but you replied before I made that edit), then it stays between 1* and 2*AdaptiveJumpingStopPips below the max PipsUpl. So with the settings I posted and 1 open pair, the JSL is always 5-10 pips behind the max open profit. 5-10 would be pretty tight for a single pair, but the aggregated basket position should in theory be less noisy. If 5-10 is too tight for you, use a larger AdaptiveJumpingStopPips, but as you say that means there are fewer jumps. With AdaptiveJumpingStopPips = 7 it would jump to 9 (for 1 open pair), 16, 23, and then you hit the TP at 30.
Cheers,
Dave.
