Hi themaxx, I have a question. The set of the ea on the second post have hour trading +8,-17 GMT.. is correct?
Or you use +8.01, -9.01 (GMT)?

The exact time doesn't matter.

You want to trade when the pair is most active.

For GBPUSD, that is during the London and US Sessions. For other pairs it will be different.

I trade between 8am to 10pm London time.

But if you start at 6am or 7am it doesn't matter. Sometimes you will make more money trading early, sometimes you will lose. Just try different times and you will see it doesn't make a difference, as long as you are trading when price moves a lot. If you trade when price doesn't move you will lose money with this system.

Just browsing around as I have been looking for a new trend trading grid EA to compliment a range trading grid strategy on GBPJPY so I have setup 'PipHunter plus everything else' on H4.

Initial testing looks promising... I will report back once it's run a bit :youknow:

Since Steve kindly knocked this up for me I've been testing 30 low spread pairs, metals, indicies, etc on H1, H4, D1 and the result is that H4 GBPJPY is the best. Nothing else gets close.

Be interested to see your results, but I've started trading H4 GBPJPY live.

I opened a live account on Monday and for the last two nights trading has been suspended.
It said "robot suspended possible rouge trading activity". It cost me money because trades could not be closed.

This is what Traders Way told me. "Hello,This is not something done by TradersWay, that is actually written into the EA code. Very interesting.
We do not block any EAs at all and can confirm we did not do this with you neither. I wonder if the EA puts this up when it loses money to blame the broker instead of the EA itself. What is the name of it?"

Yes, if the robot opens too many trades too quickly it suspends the EA (I think it's more than 1 trade a minute).

Check the code for this, this is part of Steve's shell EA code:

If you set up Empty4 to send emails, the EA will automatically send an email when the robot is suspended, and you can investigate. If you remove the EA and then reattach it, it will start trading again.

From memory the pips movements were too big for my account size. You should definitely test yourself
