After going through couple of train wrecks & disappointments, some health & financial issues and finally marriage (Oct 2015), I put the FX world on the back foot and tookup life's priorities to find some balance and sanity. And now i wish to pick up the pieces and trails from where i left them last and see what new i can create.
Thus in that pursuit i have been doing some coding and testing.
Though i am not a pro coder but yes, i understand the basics of programing. Yet there are times when i wish to be able to do better than the basics. And i have come to the point where i need some assistance in it.
What i'm trying to do is to make use of the SR zones as my StopLoss point (-/+ a few pips). That means that i am able to open the trades and currently use a standard set of 50/100 as SL/TP. After the EA puts the SL, I pull up the chart where the zones are drawn using the SupDemII indi and edit my SL to the last drawn zone and trail it by two zones. There's a break even, a candle trail and a relative tp set for all the trades which i working nicely. Only hitch is the SR zones which i have to manually manage from time to time and this is where i need some assistance.
I did lookup the EA from SlipShod's (beg your pardon as i can't recall the real name) blog / thread but i do not wish to use those zones. Rather am inclined to use the zones from the SupDemII indi and also tried to integrate the main zone code snippet from it directly into my EA but to no avail. I believe the flaw is in the very simple coding and referencing to the zone function i created. Most of the code that i create by myself is in very simple terms but all works as desired.
Thus if someone can spare a few precious moments of theirs and guide me through this, i would be really obliged. Anyone willing, please let me know if you need more info on this.
