Could you say more about this? If you don't mark price, how did you know when price want to reverse? Classical candlestick analysis? i.e. pin bar, RRT, engulfing, or you just look how "whole" price behave in certain "zones"?

Can you show us some charts with it?
Can u tell me how many levels are there on this chart?
Show me how do u count it

If u counted it wrongly and take trade from level 3, it is no difference than catching a falling knife

Look at the red circle,
it is a change of price structure, and has given u 2 warning that trend is about to change.
You can either close all your short or anticipate long. And take note of how price go up before going down in the circle, what's their intent behind this

When they have all the orders, Bam it goes!

Look at this one explosive bullish bar, it shows the velocity, big money is behind this and confirm a change in trend

Bear in mind though
Never try to catch top and bottom, it will cost u a lot of money. U will never know when the big money decide to initiate , so just to catch the middle chunk of it. In other words, put stop order in the middle and let price carry your trade. As soon as u see sign of weakness, liquidate. This is an early sign that big money is dumping their position to all those late comers or someone that use lagging indicators.

pin bar, RRT, engulfing is essentially a change of structure in higher timeframe.
i totally can relate to this. I am lost counting levels. i ask myself, when do i start counting? and when it has reached level 3 , why is there antoher level lower?

There is no clear format or guideline on this. There is no textbook on level counts and no one here wants to put up a manual or guideline to this. i guess many even sympathy or xrismak are caught a few times on level counts and they have to cut and re-count. I guess in CJs words, be nimble.

Probably there is a pattern to follow but they are not clear. Perhaps why many like myself struggle here big time and go back to indicators.

Your post gives me some idea on the tide change, the accumulation phase and the run up. I hope I can see that better in the future.

thanks.

GoldenFinger, maybe you should to take another look at the "reset" concept that sympathy and CJ mentioned several times. Just a guess, learning the hard way. :hi:

my advice would be not to worry about resets until you get crap tons of chart time learning your way around the waves

Hi xrismak, can you explain why you often have a small trade with tons of pips loaded?
A feeler trade, I suppose

( Xrismak's reason may be different but ) sometimes I get a better view of the whole picture when I'm in a trade

So instead of entering full lots, a 0.01 trade will do ( if a feel for what's happening is what you want to do )

Here is the prediction on EU i gave to the picture you are requesting. This before the initial bull-move.

Here is the aftermath:

Also said:
Business taken care of. The last bear trend down to the final main trend. Expecting a 200-300 pip bull-trend. Buckle up. :cheer:
The aftermath was 326 pips. Close enough
