What is the logic behind setting your TP at that level?

I use Fibo levels ( 61.8 and 73.6 ) and S/R levels ALOT, especially when the two meet

In this case, I was using S/R alone ( minus a buffer ) since 61.8 and 73.6 were further down and didn't make sense in this scenario.
In hindsight, I should have had the TPs and Buy Limits at the blue line in pic below

PS: that buffer ( i.e a few pips buffer for entries/SLs/TPs ) has saved my skin many a time.
The Fox often widens spread when you don't need him to. A few pips buffer ensures you're still sorted when he does

Hi does anyone here have a myfxbook link to their real account using the BARF method to show it's profitable?

I found this system after reading CJ's interesting posts on FF, however after finishing reading 586 page pdf I'm growing skeptical if this really works. None of CJ's 6 posted entries went according to plan after comparing the results with the benefit of hindsight and CJ's only live account has a history of 1 month on an unknown "other" broker.

I would really like to know if this method can actually be used consistently before spending any more time into this.

I don't know Much about BARF, but as far as Naked Trading is Concerned, I use his Method and it Makes me Coins on a CONSISTENT BASIS, Sometimes I have the Odd Loosing Trade when I get Sloppy but Overall I have Made Money and Still continue to Earn Coins from this GAME.....

You have Got to Take your \Time and Learn...you will make Loads of Mistakes along the Way but you will Learn from your Mistakes...

that's what I did .....don't worry so Long as you are Determined, you will Find your Levels of Comfort Trading this Style Eventually... but it Takes Time to Get There.....

Do you or any other traders here on the forums have a myfxbook linked real account using this method? That's I want to find.

Even if it's quoted as highly profitable, I have not been able to find any instances of verified trading accounts using it over an extended period of time.

It's simple due diligence. Verified trading accounts are easiest way to chk if a strategy is profitable.

CJ's posts are does sound compelling. The accounts as to why the PA is going where seem reasonable and it seems like a profitable method of entries. However on actual comparisons with posted entries and outcomes don't actually pan out from the few examples shown.

So I want to see if anyone who's actively trading this strategy is profitable with a myfxbook linked account that's longer than 3 months.

Reasonable right? Any newbie looking to try this method would want to see the same thing.

Sorry no system here. Its more of an observation on the ebbs and flows of the market. if you are looking for a system with mechanical hard entry's and exits *waves hand like jedi* this is not the thread your looking for

My Suggestion to you is simple, Go back and Read the Thread all over Again from the Beginning a few Times Over and Practice with Trading What you see, at some Point in Time, a Light Bulb will Flicker and you will begin to See what You Cannot UNSEE !

I cannot say it any better than this but I am Living Proof that Anyone can Do it if they Put their Minds to Doing it with Serious Determination but the Success you Crave at Trading Forex will NOT COME OVERNIGHT, you have to be Prepared for the Long Haul of HARD KNOCKS and SET BACKS to Attain any iota of Success....
It's not about linking myfxbook to a Live Trading Account... and that's the SAD TRUTH...
