thanks Renexx. HGI matrix MTF is sheer genius. Sometimes tho it freezes the Empty4 terminal like for 10 seconds, and all other open tabs. Really unsettling especially if you are in the middle of a news trade. Is there a permanent solution to this. Laptop new. Already updated to latest hgi_lib.mqh. Thanks loads 4 ur help.

This is more likely to happen with the HGI-indicator version, than with the HGI-library ('L') version, due to the sheer number of iCustom calls.

You can reduce the number of pairs and/or reduce the number of timeframes, to reduce the workload.

Humble thanks to renexxxx for this matrix. And, of course, to Bob and Steve and the other programmers for the HGI.

The matrix is working very nicely - thank you.

I have a question relating to the Hurst filter confirmation (green box) given by the matrix. I have worked my way through many of the important relevant threads here and its ongoing, but frankly I am slightly intellectually challenged and have got in a muddle over something:

In my notes I have written that that in a post somewhere Bob implied that HGI is in some way already aligned with Hurst in that both are a TMA derivative. That makes me wonder - should I pay much attention to the Hurst filter here in the matrix, or am I applying a double filter pointlessly. What are peoples experience with it? I am monitoring outcomes myself but will save a lot of time to hear from others.

Is there anyway to show flash much longer than default? - Either by parameter setting or by changing code.

A signal (Arrow or Wave) will flash if the signal pertains to the current candle (shift=0). It will continue to flash for as long as this is the case. HGIMatrix will be updated every 60 seconds. So, it is possible that after 60 seconds the signal disappears for the current candle. In such case, either the displayed signal refers to a historical candle (and won't flash), or there is no signal (if there hasn't been a signal for maxLookBack candles).

Hopefully this isn't a dumb request. I have read through the posts here but can't find anything about this so here it goes.

I know space is short but is there any way to show in each currency square whether or not I have trades on that currency.

I am trading the 24 pairs that Bob suggests and normally I am taking quick trades on many currencies during the day so if things are slow there might be 24 or 48 open trades and plenty pending.

It would be great to quickly see that I have 2 short open trades and 3 short pending trades on the GBPJPY (for example) so if the Matrix is showing a huge green trend arrow then I know I better go and sort those trades out.

At the moment I just sort my open trades by currency in the terminal and look through them manually but having them in one spot would save a lot of time.

I'd imagine you have to use some shorthand - 2 OS (2 open short trades) or 4 PL (4 pending long). Or perhaps with colour (red or green) just 2 Open or 4 Pend.

Anyway not even sure if it's possible or will add too much overhead but I thought I'd ask.
