HGI for beginners.

the HGI indicator does not draw lines..

this is a separate indicator..

when I remember right the will be shown with the attached indicator..

10.7 3.1 SSG 100.50.6xxmq4.mq4

Per HGI manual, I start my trades on a large red or green arrow (I use HGIMatrixMTF and want higher timeframe to be in the same direction as a trade timeframe).

Very often, as soon as I open the trade, yellow wavy lines appears, the price is starting to move into the opposite direction and I have to get out of the trade.

Are there better ways / filters to get into the trades or these small losses are expected?

Would greatly appreciate the advice and direction.

I posted a similar question before. Unfortunately it disappeared and I have no idea why. Maybe some technical problem with the forum.

I was testing the system since the last ~10 hours. From 14 Signals I got 8 losers which turned around and ate my Stops (10-15 Pips).
The best runner was USDJPY this early morning and the HGI Matrix for instance showed Up arrows on all 3 timeframes. But is this something we should look for or was it coincidence?

I'm also interested in how to optimize or filter entries. Thank you.

This is a very difficult time to trade. Lots of tight ranges and unless you know how to range trade it is difficult. I am trading sessions only right now and grabbing what I can. Part of becoming a successful trader us need standing what the market is doing and adjusting your trading style. Also knowing when to hang n there and letting a trade develop is very important. It's why my CSS reads are so important. Let's me know whether to dump a trade or keep it.
