Has anybody fond the longer cycles on H4 and D1 particularly hard to trace lately.

I fell that since Brexit the longer timeframes have been a bit screwy and difficult to follow. Many pairs seem to be forming one or two level cycles before reversing.

Is it just me or is this really happening? I had been making good progress on my demo prior to Brexit and the past couple of months have been dicey at best. Maybe I just need a break.

On a separate note...and this is directed to the more advanced folks in the group, how much weight do you give to level counts compared to something like price structure. I ask because I have been looking over pips400 old documents and was more concerned with top/bottom identification and range establishment. It made me realise that I may be going about all this wrong.

You mentioned that a level is created when prices pause. I have drawn the levels for Gold. Level 1 seems very prolong and level 2 is very short. Is it possible? Did I draw the levels correctly?

AUDUSD update: 1st leg of the M has formed. I can take the small profit now +20 pips and wait for the 2nd leg to start stacking orders.
