240MA is above the 60MA, this means we're only looking for shorts. However price is above both MAs (sometimes in the middle of both MAs) - how do you handle this? Do we simply not trade till price is on the right side of the MAs?
Cheers
Thank you for your question. In the manuals 10.4-10.7 I talk about reading the 240/60 lines. When price is crossing these lines it is either changing directions or goes into range mode. So if you like range trading (hint bollinger bands or resistance/support lines) you know to trade between the lines of the indicator. You dont let the winners run because they will go back to 0. Find the profit pocket it. When price breaks-out and candles are outside those lines you have a trend. So (You can follow MA lines or MACD or whatever) follow the trend and hang onto the trade until the trend ends. Reading the lines with price action tells you whether the market is ranging or trading and you can adjust your strategy accordingly.rsharpe75 » Tue Aug 30, 2016 6:22 am wrote:This is probably another silly question but luckily I'm in a section where no banning is allowed![]()

First I wanted to just say thank you for this amazing indicator! I have been reading and learning as much as I could from these forums and it's amazing what has been achieved. I am currently trading HGI on my live account and my question is what the exact number of bars on chart and bars in history I need to make it run the best on 4h. I'm sorry if I've overlooked anything I know it says less than 550 on chart and limited but I'm a but confused on limited.

set bars for chart to 5000 or at max, that depends on your computer configuration, the more RAM and CPU Power you the more you can set, there is no magic in that, all over 550 will give usable results.., and if for high tfs like W1 and MN1 you don't can reach >550 too no problem the indicator is coded to handle to less bars correct..chasebarrett8 » Wed Sep 07, 2016 2:55 pm wrote:Hi,milanese » Tue Sep 06, 2016 11:17 pm wrote: you need more than 550 , 1000 will be fine or more
Thank you for the reply Milanese, sorry about the double post. I am still a bit confused as to what I should set the bars on chart to, and what I should set the Bars history to make my HGI run correctly. I am talking more what I should put in each box like an exact number. I am Sorry about the confusion. I really appreciate your help.

trying to get onboard with new Super CSS system, but not getting bars on the CSS indicator.
Can anyone point me to possible reasons why indicator isn't working? I'm using the rainbow template provided in post 1.
I know I'm missing something super obvious, sorry for such a basic question.
Thanks,
FF

I'm still having problems with Forex.com, works on some symbols but get the exact same as you on other symbols
