Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to nanningbob, stevehopwood and all those involved in this project!

I just started using it today and already capitalized on a large downward trend of USDCAD.

Will be donating to compassion.com right now!

Now it's time to make up all my losses over the past 2 months (about $5k).

I thought I would be "smart" and capitalize on the Brexit by buying some GBP....which then got me sucked into the whole "I can make lots of money day-trading without knowing anything about it".

I learned a lot over these two months and this indicator definitely helps a lot. I always had trouble knowing when to stay in a trade with all the emotional ups and downs in the market. I always freaked out and pulled my trades, only to realize I would have come ahead if I just held longer.

HGI helps me immensely in determining whether to stay or leave the trade.

First post is updated with new HGI 16.09 with expiry 1th jan. 2017, same for the HGI_lib.
Please delete all older versions before installing the new one.

Hi,

I am trying to get HGI signals on phone like bob but i am facing an issue.

I get all alerts except blue wavy I.E. Trend wavy ones. I checked my indicators settings and I have not set it to

false. I am getting it correct on my desk top though. Is anyone else faced similar problem??

I get both but if you set big arrows only the blue wavy lines will come down as a big arrow so you can get them tha way.

I am coding an EA using hgi_lib, and a doubt arises me:

As I understand how the lib works, when getHGISignal returns a signal (e.g. "TRENDUP" ) is because its algorithms just detected the trend up condition.
And if the condition disappears in the next tick, the same call to getHGISignal would return "NONE" I think.

But, if the condition does not disappears, how long the library will be returning "TRENDUP" ??

By the way, thanks a lot to every contributor to this fantastic job!!

signals are given to the candle your EA reads signal out of the lib, so if you use shift==0 you will only get the signal status of actual candle. Best is too look in Rene's HGI Matrix code to understand how the lib integration works..

in post 1 you find a fixed 16.09 for the latest Empty4 build, as there was a problem possible if you had not enough bars for tf/and symbol on chart that had caused that the HGI was removed.
