I have been able to code this but not test it because my platform cannot connect to Cowboy IBFX servers. You can check out the filters by:

• - enabling StopTrading
  - disable both ltf filters to see 'raw' Slope trades displayed on the chart.
  - enable the ltf filters one at a time to see if they disable trades appropriately.

Remember to disable StopTrading afterwards. Sing out if anything looks wrong.

In its current state it's not working, even with my fixes. I still think that's the right way to run this thing but we probably need to attack it separately.

500 pips tonight and that's with entering at London open. If I had entered when basket was sitting at the top of the outer TMA band (ie; trend down, top TMA band) I reckon I could have gotten 700+

Can't wait to try with entering at a retracement to the outer TMA bands tomorrow.

This is awesome. I think this is the solution to question of when to trigger trades and which pairs. Shows strength of each overall so we can avoid the ones which do not have too much in them.

I think he means the 10.2 TMA True that looks like a Bollinger Band on the H1 charts, not the slope.

I'm glad you are trying to improve this - it's rubbish at the moment!

Seriously though, on days like today the initial DD can be a bit hairy, so any way to minimise it is welcome.

How about looking at each pair that would be in the basket, reading the top and bottom of the TMA true band at that point and getting a percentage value of where the current price is. So a potential sell just above the midpoint between the bands would be a 0.55 (and all reversed for a potential buy). You could average across all trades and set a threshold before the basket would trigger, or only include pairs above the threshold.

Just bluesky thinking, excuse me if this is impossible/impractical to code...

Closed at +542 pips.......with this kind of market it will be really difficult to test Shelley seriously but at least we make money......
