Yesterday I had a struggle having the basket closed due to missing the LO candle.
After entered on 9 candles, I changed the TP to 0.5% which closed during the evening.

Didn't trade today, too late to start now.

That is a very sensible approach Gertje, when trialling this I closed at 0.5% on a few occasions, bird in the hand and all that..

If you go down to the 30 minute charts you would have to give some serious consideration to the number of pairs traded as leverage could become a huge factor.. A simple process could be trade the 12 most volatile pairs.. There are just so many opportunities with the CSS and we have barely scratched the surface.

Yes, I experienced the same: didn't quite make it to the 1.5% BasketTP (missed it by a whisker) and had to settle for much less. As an idea, we could try a basket trailing (or jumping) stop.

Rene I have also been considering something like this as I've witnessed near misses on the 1.5% and to be honest 1% is still a darn nice profit. Maybe something like at 1.3% move to 1% TP and then step up in 0.10% steps...

Another option could be time based, for example after 4 hours TP reduces from 1.5% to 1% after a further 4 hours reduce TP to 0.5%

I think it might work, when hedging [using GP] the margin is reduced. A buy cancels the margin for a sell so to speak. I know other brokers require half the margin in a hedge situation, or even the full margin for the 2 positions.

Time will tell......

Hi Keith

I traded this morning at London open and hit target (1,5%) 10mins into the 2nd 1h candle.
So I opened 2 trades on all pairs.

I just opened a buy or sell in the direction of CSS.

Man, i am so looking forward to this EA Mathias is making
