I trade when an arrow appears only if the direction correlates a view I already have. EU had failed to break major resistance and then was making a lower high so i jumped straight in. It just so happened to be a great entry.

Just to add I would not say that one hour following a H1 cross or 15mins following a M15 cross means it's confirmed and anything less than this not .. obviously the longer time passes following a signal then the more indicative it is of a longer term move but catching the momentum in the moment can be just as important for a good entry. The question now is whether H4 will also cross red tonight but if M15 or H1 cross back blue before a red H4 arrow then I will get out and wait to try again.

Great .. and so what do you read from this?

On your H4 chart I see price has made lower lows and lower highs since the peak high and is likely forming a 3rd corrective wave having just bounced off top of H4 resistance.
D1 CSS confirming that price is at top of current daily range and based on above will be unlikely to breakout higher until this wave completes with a retrace towards the middle of the "M".

I took profit too early last night (there was a further drop just after I got out) but I was happy with a few pips before going to bed. H4 CSS didn't cross red but I expect it will today. Just watching a lovely battle for 1.1250 support now becoming resistance this morning and if I get some more confirmation from CSS will jump back in short for a longer ride today towards the bottom of the red H4 channel on your chart.

I love the way this super CSS compliments price action so clearly. It can tell us to hang on and save getting into trades too early or that something is changing right now and helps us choose side.

If you are new to trading and CSS then I suggest you stick with post 1 and master what is on offer there first sticking with H4 or D1 timeframes. Only once you are comfortable identifying higher timeframe direction/cycles should you look at playing with lower time frames.

Once you have an idea of where price action is trading relative to the higher timeframe (near support or resistance..? beginning, middle or end of cycle?), then I think looking at M15, H1 and H4 CSS together in addition to this higher timeframe view can highlight optimal entry and exit points.
